Russia Won't Go Away

If Trump didn’t want to be the target of a “witch hunt,” he shouldn’t have said, in effect, ‘I’m a witch–now hunt me!’

Trump seems to have a knee-jerk habit of throwing people under the bus if they do something he doesn’t like. I’m sure it breeds strong loyalty.

Trump is just setting up democrats for further embarrassment.

He’s just going to continually look right with these tweets as this faux case against him continues to unfold.

If 7-8 months of investigation yielded nothing even when they used unmasked illegal wiretapping, why do you think something will magically be found now?

LOL

That’s probably why his administration isn’t FILLED with holes. The guy just inspires a special level of loyalty.

Ah, so it’s an example of that multidimensional chess he plays. Got it.

These tweets make him “look right”? OK, if you say so.

Are you privy to Mr. Mueller’s work? If not, you may well be getting out over your skis here.

He claims Rosenstein (or Mueller, I guess?) told him to fire Comey, yet Trump went on national news and told the world he had previously decided to fire him…for his handling of the Russia investigation. I know you still think he’s playing 4D chess, but this emperor is butt-nekkid.

No, he isn’t. First, as we’ve said a thousand times - Democrats aren’t driving this. They can’t. They can enjoy the schadenfraude of it, but they aren’t making it happen.

Second, even if the investigation reveals nothing, it won’t be an embarrassment. Had Trump been quiet and professional, and let the investigation run its course, that might make it appear to be a big waste of time in the end. But he’s taking actions that make it necessary to keep investigating, such as trying to intimidate special counsel into exonerating him. People will be exasperated, but not embarrassed.

Yeah his tweets are mostly where the 4D chess comes in. If his tweets hurt him so badly he would not have won the election.

Answering a question with a question. What confidence do you have something will be found now after a thorough 8 month investigation yielded absolutely nothing?

Politics is narrative driven and the Democrats are pushing the narrative.

What the general public will see:

  1. Trump tweets declaring his innocence
  2. nothing found in investigation
  3. Trump being right

The average person does not follow politics from a daily basis.

Wait, you’ve shifted from his tweets being the method by which he ‘looks right’ to ‘Well, his tweets couldn’t be that bad, or else he wouldn’t have won.’ So are his tweets the light saber by which he carves up his enemies, or the suicide vest that, despite blowing him up, still manages to do more damage to his opponents than to himself?

A very high one.

Perhaps. But Congress does.

Isn’t that a good question. Lefty logic certainly jumps through some hoops to make ends meet.

I’ve not shifted, I’m just debunking the claim his tweeting harms his standing in the minds of the American people as you continually Push.

He won despite his tweets not because of them.

We typically don’t elect the same party three times in a row.

Democrats ran a horribly flawed candidate with more baggage than Delta

DNC hacks turned off the party base as it showed they pushed one candidate over a grassroots popular one.

Despite all these in his favor considerably more people voted for his opponent.

And a foreign power intervened

This is worth repeating. Despite everything Dems did to shit the bed, they still brought home the popular vote by a pretty silly margin.

Why is the GOP mantra always to eliminate CA as if somehow they don’t have citizens?

Popular vote = popular vote. 1 citizen = 1 vote. Hard stop

The Russia Russia hysteria is a ridiculous lie and distraction from real issues. The democrats have literally gone crazy. That’s why we need to start moving toward third parties: Libertarian or Green. Both are worth looking into.

So when every GOP senator except 1 voted to put sanctions on Russia, that was the minority Dems fault?

It’s worth looking into. If nothing is there nothing is there. I would hope that the left doesn’t turn this into Benghazi where Republicans refused to believe the reports.

I’m totally on board with a third party and always have been. Our two party system has ran its course
