That is quite gentlemanly to admit. I am on my phone right now so not quite so convenient to look up, but it was in the biology and race thread (which I really do not want to resurrect) and you posted that because I did not reply to something you had said that I implicitly agreed with your stance. Did it to a couple others in the same thread. But that is an old thread that I don’t want to reactivate.
True, but I will be the first to say that I am happy that SOMETHING got a crowd of people together in a bar to watch politics. Even though it’s only for a short time
“CORRECTION AND UPDATE: This article was published before Comey released his prepared opening statement. The article and headline have been corrected to reflect that Comey does not directly dispute that Trump was told multiple times he was not under investigation in his prepared testimony released after this story was published.”
Do many people believe the election itself was directly hacked and the results modified? Not really.
Do many people believe Russia was responsible for hacking many countries across the globe in recent years to influence their high level elections with the 3rd latest being America? Yup.
In the very least, Russia engaged in a targeted disinformation campaign during the 2016 US election. This is undisputed. Considering HRC lost by a total of 78k votes over three states, representing half-of-one-percent of the voters in those states, some people think it altered the election. I’m not convinced based on what we know now, but I am very curious to see what this investigation turns up.
You don’t have a very good grasp of what half the country believes.
Also, many people are less worried about Trump/Russia collusion and more about Russia interfering with our election and having virtually no repercussions. Personally, even if people don’t believe Trump had anything to do with it, they should still want answers as Russia’s interests almost never align with America.
