Russia Won't Go Away

No Tyler this is serious and will lead to Trumps Impeachment and removal from office…right?

Wanna bet? Oh yeah we already did.

Best comment on Comey firing has come from Ben Shapiro: “Best season of The Apprentice ever.”

Ha.

Yes, just a game. That’s pretty much all federal prosecutors do - you know, play games, issue subpoenas.

Yeah, me too. Totally missed that one. Shocked. I think it is highly likely Trump did this as a way to stymie investigation, and damn–that’s not at all what the US should or has been about. That’s what Latin American corrupt gov’ts do.

Yes, and disgustingly accurate. I am pissed. We should be better than this. We ARE better than this.

While I’m heavily disappointed in Trump not executing his immigration plan, the way he makes shitlibs like tyler23 shit their pants is priceless. These tweets are 7 hours apart

The fact is, there are still serious questions about Russia–as the uproar from Dems and Repubs has made plain.

Clapper also admitted–under the same oath–that he had been unaware of the ongoing FBI investigation concerning collusion, so it is frankly absurd to conclude that Clapper’s statement is dispositive.

To the contrary, open hearings are not where a “smoking gun” is revealed. How many times did Clapper and/or especially Yates say ‘I can’t answer that, as it would compromise national security’?

Breitbart wishful thinking aside, this imbroglio is going to be a huge stain on the Trump WH, and may well be the impetus that results in the creation of a select committee or even the appointment of a special prosecutor. To be blunt, Trump really shit the bed on this one.

You think everything he does is a “stain” especially if you read sites such as think progress.

Hmm…“indignant”. I’m thinking someone wrote that tweet for him.

Yet you post an article from Breitbart…the literal propaganda arm of the White House. It seems anytime they or RT post an article, you just bend over and spread your cheeks.

Check out these libshits reacting to Colbert telling them Trump had fired Comey. They hadn’t been told what to think so unsurprisingly they cheer

Comey should have been fired. Last July.

This is like Watergate, except that all villains are dumb.

He had grown enraged by the Russia investigation, two advisers said, frustrated by his inability to control the mushrooming narrative around Russia. He repeatedly asked aides why the Russia investigation wouldn’t disappear and demanded they speak out for him. He would sometimes scream at television clips about the probe, one adviser said.

This is cool - an interactive chart.

But on the other hand, the fact that one has ample material to create an interactive chart of all Trump-Russia connections speaks volumes.

Edit: Here’s a million dollar question - does the President of the United States star in a music video by one of Putin’s top henchmen? You know the answer…

Interesting, and eminently believable. And it makes another point about Trump’s dismissal letter - Trump can’t miss an opportunity to editorialize about how he was told he wasn’t being investigated “three times” knowing full-well this letter will be made public. What President does that? How painfully insecure in this man?
More importantly, why is a President commenting publicly on the results (partial or otherwise) of an ongoing FBI investigation?

This is why serious people understand there are real questions of integrity with this administration. There are some things, in the name of preserving integrity of process and respect - you just don’t do.

As opposed to the President…Comey seems to be a man of honor and integrity.

He’ll be just fine.

I agree, and I can’t wait to read the memoir.

There is no room for that in politics, which is why his head ended up on the chopping block.
