Talk about being overpaid.
Yeah he is an entertainer which is why it seems so stupid that people listen to him to garner and build their political philosophy. Same as Glen Beck. I just watched like 5 minutes of that guy’s show and he spent 2/3 of the time acting like hes in a Broadway show.
Al Sharpton might use race to fill up his pockets but Rush Limbaugh also does the same thing with anti conservative politics. They’re both the same, they love all the media attention. The thing is there is no true “patriotic commentator” in a free market system where financial gain is the motive. A lot of the historic figures who changed the world (Martin Luther King, Ghandi etc) did so with the passion of a vision and to see that vision become fulfilled. I want to see Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck personally go to Washington and hold up those tea party signs if they truly are so “passionate” and “concerned” about the current politic situation in America. Think about this. If he doesn’t say radical things people won’t listen in the numbers they do, and if they don’t listen then whats the point of being on air if you cant get your “message” across to the public.
But then again that’s not my point. My point is that Limbaugh personally attacks people with whom he politically disagrees with. Bill Clinton is a vivid example that comes to mind. Bill Clinton has done more for people of the world today then any other person I can think of. The guy was a great president and an even better ambassador today. Yet, he and his wife got hammered by Limbaugh and they still do, all because he knows if he says he “respects” them on air hes going to lose 5 million like minded individuals who gasp at the mention of the words “democrat” or “liberal.” What level of ignorance does a man have when he says he wants the President and his policies to fail? By insinuating that you HOPE more government intervention fails you are making a fool of yourself when you say they WILL NOT work. Because they will not work under any circumstances right?
Basically hes ignorant, a pessimist, radical, and an attention whore. Its good that he got rejected.
(World needs more uniting figures than dividers like him)
Did a sheep skull fuck you when you were little, because that is just plain retarded. You think government intervention is an actual good thing? You like when the government comes into your home and tells you what to do like you’re their little bitch? You actually think what Bill Clinton did was a good thing? No people that listen to Rush are not scared of the “Democrats” or “Liberals.” How does Rush do the same thing as Al Sharpton, does Rush go to corporations and say I am going to sue you because you’re liberal and I’m going to tell the media what you did unless you give me money, does he go around to white people and say, “You’re a victim of these people because these people are liberals?”
You want a figure instead of divider huh? What like Barrack Obama, is he a figure? Guess what Barrack Obama is nothing like Martin Luther King Jr. MLK was more of a divider than he was a figure. The man spoke his opinion, he divided people because some agreed, some didn’t. There was a lot of people that hated MLK and wish someone would kill him.[/quote]
please stop- my sides hurt from laughing.
Anyway- this is pretty simple- the NFL- which is (for lack of a better word) directed by Goodell simply did not want a big-mouth/loose cannon as a minority owner. Because they are not publicly owned, they are allowed to decide who gets to be a member of their very exclusive club.
