Well, if they are could you provide a link? I’m legit curious.

His 19th century views on race aside, he is also a walking hypocrisy.

And a Christian…(not) coincidentally.

Honestly, shouldn’t you provide a direct source for your quotes? Not sure what the Christian remark was about, either.

It took me five seconds to google Rush quotes. Those two were taken from ask.com. There were a gillion sites providing quotes that all showed he is giant A-hole douchebag.

He is the typical Christian that, for example, wants to throw drug users in prison for life, but then admits he is drug addict himself. He unfortunately has the views/opinions of the vast majority of every ignorant redneck that lives within the state of Oklahoma.
I was hoping for a direct source. One of the things I’ve seen with this controversy is that a number of quotes are allegedly fabricated.

And I still don’t understand the Christian comments. The ‘typical’ christian wants drug users in prison, but the ‘typical’ Christian is a drug user? You got some numbers to back that up? What does that say about a ‘typical’ atheist with the same behavior? It just seems like you want to force religion into the discussion.

I’m being unfair. The ignorant rednecks are okay guys as long as a black president doesn’t get elected, they can buy enough ammo to supply a Brigade of Soldiers, and they can beat gay people on sight.
Now you’re just lashing out wildly.

Adios, amigo.
Why, because I can’t go online and listen to his retarded soundbites? I don’t have to be a loyal follower like you to know what he says. It’s pretty simple to look up.

During his radio show this week, Rush Limbaugh once again attacked Judge Sonia Sotomayor. This time he lashed out at her for being a member of the Belizean Grove, a private organization of female professionals, saying, “I think I’m going to send Sotomayor and her club a bunch of vacuum cleaners to help them clean up after their meetings.” Get it? He’s saying all Latinas are maids and cleaning ladies. Hysterical, right?

Rush is a racist douchebag.

Anyway- this is pretty simple- the NFL- which is (for lack of a better word) directed by Goodell simply did not want a big-mouth/loose cannon as a minority owner. Because they are not publicly owned, they are allowed to decide who gets to be a member of their very exclusive club.

jnd

But they are tickled to death to have big-mouth/loose cannons as majority owners?

I must’ve missed something. What has old Jerrah Jones said that was so offensive? Please let me know, because other than tweaking Jimmy Johnson, I do not remember him saying anything that was blatantly offensive (unless of course you are a Washington fan).

I must’ve missed something. What has old Rush Limbaugh said that was so offensive? Please let me know, because other than tweaking the press over the McNabb situation, I do not remember him saying anything that was blatantly offensive - and even that wasn’t close to “blatantly offensive” (unless of course you are a liberal who is tolerant of other views to the extent that those views are shared by the liberal).

Well lets see…

“The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies.”

“They oughtta change Black History Month to Black Progress Month and start measuring it.”

I found these after a 20 second google search.

Both are fabricated. Try again.

Well, if they are could you provide a link? I’m legit curious.

Look at the source of those quotes. 90% come from a book called “101 People Screwing up America” written by a left-wing activist. His “source” is web forums. The rest come from leftist media sites. Limbaugh’s show is recorded in its entirety every day so that if he says something like that, he will be “caught”. So, where is the audio? Transcript? Anything? Nope, just quotes on left-wing websites. Thus, FABRICATED. Also, this is the reason he is considering filing a libel lawsuit if he can prove that these fabricated quotes cost him a potentially valuable deal for the Rams.

Edit: Also, O’Reilly (not exactly Rush’s biggest fan) did this very exercise on his show last night, with the aid of a large research department. NO credible evidence to be found of any of these quotes.

That is why I was asking the other poster if he did have a source to refute those quotes, if they indeed are made up.

He embodies the reason(s) why I no longer go to church. He’s against gay marriage because we can’t stain the virtues of hetero marriage, yet he has been married several times thus showing he is all about the sanctity of said institution. Also, as mentioned, there are his opinions on drug users, yet he is/was an avid drug user, but I guess it’s different for him because they were “prescription drugs”.

I didn’t mean to say all Christians are drug users, but the fact that he was/is plus all his aforementioned issues shows he doesn’t need to be criticizing others for what they do until he fixes his own life.

So THAT’S how it works now? Throw up a bogus, spurious charge and then challenge everyone to “refute” it?
Which I did. Here’s a new one:

“The white man is the devil” - Barack Obama

Its now written on a website, so it must be true. Show me proof that its not.

You used the word “ignorant” but failed to use it as an adjective to modify the proper noun, “Dustin”.
Yes I did.

I’ll try again though.

Rush Limbaugh is an ignorant, fat, bald, hypocrite. Is that better?

Wait…no.

Let’s try this again, Dustin. Name ONE (substantiated) racist comment made by Rush. Just ONE. He’s been on the air for 20 years for three hours a day. Go git 'im, tiger. We’ll all sit here and drum our fingers on the table waiting for you to complete your mission.

(Not more than 30 seconds, huh? You’re still here even after being dismissed for admitting you haven’t listened to him for more than 30 seconds?)
Sevenmoist just provided you one. I also provided the now infamous “take the bone out of your nose” comment.

Push, I know you are getting up there in age so let me repeat it. I can go online, youtube for instance, and look up all sorts of Rushisms. This is nice because I don’t have to listen to his garbage on the radio.

Thank you for all the encouragement though.

Problem is, buddy, you tacitly admitted YOU the ignorant one with your revelation that you never listened to RL for more than 30 seconds.
This is my original quote: I haven’t listened to to him for more than 30 seconds in many years and don’t plan on it anytime soon.

This would indicate I did listen to him at one time. I ‘use’ to listen him and other nutcases like Michael Savage. So why does that make me ignorant?

I think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. Theyre interested in black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well. I think theres a little hope invested in McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of his team that he really didnt deserve.

Limbaugh in 2007: “NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons”

More fat boy douchery.

Which one?
