Squats are a pain for lots of folks, myself included. Keep hitting 'em. They will make a jump very soon.
Like the little engine that could…I think I can, I think I can, I know I can, I know I can. The danger of have kids is you can NEVER erase kids songs and stories from your memory…think ‘Barney’ and what happens? I love you, you love me, blah blah blah.

Thankfully, my kids missed the Barney era. I just have to deal with Ben 10, Scooby-Doo and Power Rangers. I can live with those.
DE Bench 8x3@175 Theses are getting a little faster each week (Side note…doing bench twice a week, I’m starting to feel more solid at it again…go figure!)
Seated Mils 1x10@bar, 1x5@95, 1x3@135, 1x3@155, 10x3@175 These I hit. Still have to hit 10x5 to move up in starting weight.
BB Rows 3x3@135, 1x3@155, 1x3@175…May change these to hirep soon
Floor Skulls? and EZcurls 2x5@90
Did it again to lower back. Its fucked. Back squats may have to go the way of the dinosaur. Gonna stick with trapbar deads and alot of rehab work…hypers, reverse hypers (homemade but effective) and rolling. I’ll be the one on the leg press and hammerstrength squat machine. Sorry fellas.

That’s a lot of sets of bench! Why so many?
Great work…
I liked doing BBB. It fits my attention span. I didn’t feel I was getting as much out of the 10x5 as I SEEM to be getting out of doing 10 sets at top weight for the day. Just a little winter time experiment. I’m gonna run this through another cycle then test my bench to see where I’m at. I know one thing for sure…my appetite sure is going up doing this!
3 sets hirep back raises, 3 sets hirep reverse hypers with 40#…my low back is slowly starting to feel better. I really dislike lying on my stomach. Skinny or not so skinny, still hurts!
Warmups and dislocates to 135. No dynamic work today. Mains and done.
1x5@145

Back out of town Thurs for a few more days. Gonna have to reset my schedule when I get back. More sets at the top end seem to be doing wonders for me. We shall see after I’m back on a regular type schedule. Probably do lower on Wed. After snow removal and such. We finally got some measurable snow.
