Still a deload…
GM’s
Sets of 5 to 135x5x2
Standing Mils
Sets of 5 to 135x5
These were actually flying up. I was a little amazed because I really hate rep work (And yes 5 reps is rep work to me! )

Pushups, Chinups, Hindu Squats…done every off day increasing the count by 1 each day. I would like to get to 100 of each per day. We will see how ambitious I really am.

Only if my elbows hold out. My tendonitis is freakin killing my. Why is it when we find something we like (a fatass doing chins), our body says ‘fuck you’? Or is it just me?

3 exams down, one to go. A’s on all three as well as A’s in the classes (Algebra, Health, and Comparative Religion). My last exam is in my Cisco class. I got an 80 on the practice final so here’s hoping.
Still a deload week so I did some front squats with PAW for mobility work. If I ever want my hip to get better, I may have to start doing these a lot more often. They seem to get my hips to loosen up. The only down side is it takes a lot of sets for them to loosen up!!!

Oh, it isn’t just you. My shoulder is a prime example. MP is my favorite exercise…and the one that hurts my shoulder more than anything else.
Edit: Wanted to add…Great job with the school work. I bet you’re doing better this time around than in your youth.
Ahh so its like the 60 day challenge only that one only goes up to seventy. I’m up to day 61 on it, when it ends I’m going to break and then reset it so that the top is 80-90.

Thank you much. And absolutely I’m doing better that I would have in my youth. However, because I’m old and doing so well, I seem to be placing expectations on my kids that perhaps I shouldn’t. Not that they are unreasonable or unreachable, it’s just that I need to remember how I was at their age. Maybe some gentle prodding will help because the flip side is I know where they’ll end up if they don’t do well in college. There aren’t well paying jobs for the under-educated nowadays, not like when I got out of high school.

No training today. Worked all day after my Cisco final, which I got a 90 on and an A for the class. I have to say that Cisco I has been my hardest class so far in terms of sheer volume of information. It appears, however, that I did learn the material.

Congrats! That is no small feat. I have taken 22 certification tests, over the past decade. Cisco is, by far, the most comprehensive and difficult. And since I am a network guy who uses their stuff for everything, I can tell you that it confuses the hell of people.
Great job!

Box Squats 5’s
Lots of warm-up with gm’s and front squats then…
190x5
220x5
250x4 The last rep just wasn’t gonna go. Just one of those days I guess. Looks like I may work through this cycle twice. We’ll see how the next 2 weeks go.
Lots o back raises
Nothing wrong with working through a cycle twice.

My 14yr old just pulled 275 at 150-160 bw.
1 sloppy rep but got it.
next damn clean followed by 4 not from floor…
So expectations, well, they gotta work, cause they gotta eat… That said the labor participation rate is lowest since '85 so it is damn cold out there…

On and off. I’ve officially been laid off for about a year now. That’s when I went back to school. However, I’ve been doing misc work while being off and in school.
