Short and sweet. I would have done tricep work…ie dips…but my shoulders are a bit tender for some reason so I skipped them. I also decided to drop the every session military pressing for the time being and just do them on military day. I may have over-used my shoulders. We shall see.

I was actually told I deadlift too loud and could I not set the weights down so hard. Can you fucking believe it???!!! Have you ever had one of those moments where you just want wad someone up and toss them across the room but common sense only allows you to roll your eyes and smirk? Apparently I must have looked really pissed because after the tard left, another guy tried to like mellow me out. Rolled my eyes at him too. I actually have no idea why I felt like that 6 hrs ago and why it was still bugging me now. However, now that I ranted, I feel better.
Stress - noun - The condition created when the mind overrides the body’s basic desire to choke the living shit out of some numbnut who desperately needs it.
Sumo Deads
195x5
225x5
255x5 Opps. Sorry. Too loud.

last time that happened to me, I built a platform in my garage. only deadlifted on it once, but it made me feel better to know I have somewhere to lift if they kick me out

When it’s warm out, I use my garage more for lifting so I’ll just have to ‘behave’ till then. I actually only have the ‘noise’ problem when I’m doing reps. Singles don’t cause any commotion.
Some 45* back raises. Called it a day. I start my ‘Wellness Class - Strength Training’ next week for my PE credit. If I don’t like what she is saying, and when it comes to wellness, strength training and nutrition, I might not, I’m just going to keep my mouth shut and earn my A.
School Note : Made Dean’s List for the Fall Semester and received my Phi Thetta Kappa invitation. Believe it or not, I was dancing around my living room like a fool after I got those letters.
Nice work, Rug. Dean’s List? Phi Theta Kappa? I feel like we’re losing you.
We don’t set things down quietly in our gym (spare bedroom). Since it is carpeted, it isn’t too loud. The poor carpet, however, is shredded in places. That is mainly from DBs. We have carpet squares for deads.

Great work in the gym and in school! Congrats!
As long as I hang around here, I’ll never be lost.
185x3 2p+2.5
215x3 2p +15# per side
2453x3 2p1q a nickle and a 2.5 per side
HS Pulldowns
4x7@2p+10 per side
Short and sweet. Feeling fresh and working out the painful kinks. I think ‘short and sweet’ is going to be my motto for a while.
Dietary Note : Tightened up on my eating by logging my intake again…down about 4# without cutting cals…just junk!!! Trying to work on reducing the ‘organ’ fat. Surface levels aren’t all that bad.

BTW, does anyone else like hammerstrength machines? Kinda nice for a changeup

Love 'em
The Gold’s I’m at has both kinds, Pin select and Plate loaded. They have a line of lifestyles people seem to prefer. I’m using Pin select. They are almost always open. Pin select allows quick change up, especially important when lifting with my boy.Only downside is the presses are tight loaded range of motion begins below start of chest, so longer range of motion then I get with dumbbells.

What’s the deal with too loud? Is it PF?
No, it’s a Fitness 19. I think they may have a new manager though. Never had a problem before. Too loud was doing deads for reps and not setting them down ‘quietly’.
Avatar Note : Our new puppy. We started out fostering him and decided to adopt him. He was found abandoned with his brother. His brother got adopted out right away. Taz was taking longer so we decided we needed another dog. Papers say Pit/Boxer. Pit head, body looks like a boxer. Smart as hell and full of energy.
Cleaning uo the diet is a good thing, as is adopting the pup. Everyone needs a good home. My kids are clamoring for one, but the wife is severely allergic to them. Of course, she is allergic to cats too and we have 3. I tihnk we will be getting a dog…and more zyrtec.

Pulling looks good, why the double set of 3’s though?
Instead of ‘repping’ out at my top set, I usually do 2-3 sets of prescibed reps. Seems to give me more top end work. Occasionally I’ll rep out but I prefer more sets at the top end. Besides, repping deads, for me, sucks ass!!!
