Thanks, BD. It’ll have to be a Diet Dew, though. I haven’t drank in 10 yrs.

Bench deload accomplished. Mulling over some tweaks to my program. Just minor shit. I haven’t really stalled yet on upper. As for lower, winter is going to be a time for working out the kinks in my system so I can get back to doing some ‘real’ lifts. Now that school is back in session, I can start looking for a doc for my leg, hip, and back.
Lower Body deload accomplished. Lot’s o silliness in the gym this Holiday. Squat Rack Curlers, 1/8 Squatters, the Advertising Female, and ‘The Sheep’. Made my day for some reason.
Last deload of the week. New cycle beginning Sat. As for school…Business Communication class is a bear. Papers, papers, and more papers!!! At least my other 2 classes should be easy A’s. Intermediate Algebra and ITCS 1010 (Basically MS Office). Prereqs for the rest of my computer classes.
Business Communication? Is that where they teach you buzz words? So you can sound like you know what you are talking about while not actually having a clue? I had a CIO like that.
Nothing but props for you for being able to go back to school and get it done.

Nice work, Rug. But you sure are doing a lot of “crap”. Got tired of typing?
Business Comm. sounds like something to hate. What, exactly, does it cover?[/quote]
You learn how to write various types of business reports, proposals, and give differant types of individual and group presentations. I can understand this being a pre-req if I were a business major, but IT? It just seems like a way to make students take a class where writing papers is all you do.
As for ‘crap’…Logging the extraneous stuff I do seems like TMI. Generally it’s just things I do before leaving the gym.
Hammerstrengh ISO shoulder press
165x5
190x5
215x8
DE Bench
8x3@190
Tate Presses (for tris)
3x10@30
Cable rows and pulldowns
3x10@120
Isolating the lats on pulldowns and cable rows is a bitch
Neck Harness
3x10@45
Standing Mils
11x1@160
No ‘crap’ today.
Just in case anyone isn’t aware, when I log hammerstrengh lifts, the weight is the actual weight on the bars only. I don’t count the starting weight of the machine in my numbers.

Yeah, HS/bar weights are like english/metric. I can do ‘bar math’, but HS, I just count plates. I have no idea what the weight really is

You will end up doing presentations to management at some point. This stuff helps, really.

Looking at it objectively, the class seems to go smoother and smoother each session. I was semi-comfortable doing my first presentation…on me!!!..and as I keep finding information for my next papers and doing the work, I’m getting a little better. Still think it’s crap, though!!! Some people just have to work at being comfortable in front of peers.
I have to do an interview for my primary research for my paper and I was thinking of maybe one of you fellas in the Cisco field, if ya’ll don’t mind, that is. That is what I’m doing my paper on. Since I’m going into the field, I have to do a ‘projection’ on where the field is going and the opprotunities that will be available in the next 5-10 yrs.
