Total confidence, thats what we like to see.

That would beat our all time winning points margin against them, which was 6 - 43.

Maybe a bit hopefull cuz?

Man foreigners are constantly telling us to stop worrying and just enjoy the god damn thing - and they have a point! We have the best team in the world the onus is on every other side to try and upset us because we’re the favourites in any match up.

I just heard Beale is out, which makes my prediction just that much more realistic.

I’m supporting the Aussie’s. Them winning on Sunday will show the rugby nation that the AB’s are an average team without their man Dan Carter (let the flaming commence!)[/quote]

I wouldn’t say they are an ā€œaverage teamā€ without him. And the Wallabies have been plagued by injuries too. It will be a great match regardless.

Well France are in, and they did not play that well, even against 14 men for 60 minutes. Both southern hem teams will be smiling

It’s my day off so I stayed in bed all morning and haven’t seen the match yet but I popped onto Facebook for a few secs and caught this

Shocking decision. Looks like there’s be some serious changes made to the reffing after the RWC. At least this means that Nigel Owens can officiate the final.

I wouldn’t be so confident in the final against France. We all know they’re capable of being unstoppable or completely shite.

If Aus are in the final, France will win. But if they face NZ, home advantage will play to NZ and the French can’t travel so tomorrow morning is essentially the Kiwi’s final.

You guys down there have got to be nervous

They are Talking about tonight’s game being the Final, not to sure as there is still one match to play. But it is the biggest game for both teams tonight. Hopefully a better spectacle than last nights game, ABs by 12

Half time 14-6. Knock on by Weepu there that wasn’t called.

Jeepers, I thought Australia was playing the all blacks not Craig Joubert. Several knock ons there by the ABs that weren’t called. I guess it was payback for last week.

Great little field goal from Cruden in the first half. And the AB’s front line was impenetrable. Well played ABs.

Just in case anyone has any allusions about the Kiwis being the best rugby players in the world please take note of the rugby league results today(more exciting game although I’m not a fan of league): Aus 42, NZ 6. Also note the fact that Australia has only 80,000 registered union players whilst NZ has over 145,000 - union being NZ’s national sport. Also keep in mind the fact that most Australia’s rugby talent is in the league and there isn’t much cross code trading. I think an accurate picture of Australia’s rugby ability can be better measured by a look at the league results against NZ.

Played 124
Australia wins 92
New Zealand wins 29
Draws 3

In conclusion, NZ is definitely the second best rugby nation in the world. That is all.

Quade Cooper made a few mistakes tonight(i.e. drop kicking the ball straight to Weepu) but I think he played well overall. I’m pretty pissed that Kurtley Beale was out though. He went to St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill where my grandfather went to school and played in the first XV back in the early 30’s. Here’s Beale at school:

Incredible talent.

O’Connor where was the magic? You drongo you!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA You sir are a bullshit artist.

Hey, don’t swear you cunt. Anyway, SA are definitely the third best rugby nation on earth.

The NZ vs AUS game was proper entertainment! anyone else notice how explosive/fast both side were? England have been really slow - jogging into rucks and tackles

I’ll swear if I want to you cock-juggler!

You know what I really love about rugby. The Tri-Nations teams are basically the god-kings of rugby, any other teams are basically superfluous. But lord we fuckin hate each other…

That being said, VIVA LA FRANCE!

I hate the French, but I’ll back them over any side that doesn’t understand or abide by the offside rule. ANZAC or not.

But why. The French are so cool. They invented stuff like the ménage à trois. The Mirage F1. And Asterix and Obelix.

Go to France, you’ll understand.

Well the score was pretty conservative but the margin multiplier of 3 basically puts in on par of what was expected. The ABs totally out-classed a confused Aussie side. Next week should be even easier. Go ABs!

LOL you’re complaining about calls as an Australian fan? You should have watched last week. Stop over exaggerating, it didn’t look like the refs missed any knock ons, I think you were hallucinating and watching you wanted to see. You’re lucky Weepu was having an off night and the ABs didn’t convert on more tries from their numerous forays in the Aussie 22, which would have made the scoreline more embarrassing than what it was.

And how the fuck is league more exciting than rugby union. Union is more popular than league everywhere in the world. The rest of your post can be explained by country size: Aus 22.5m NZ 4m.

Nice troll attempt anyway though.

So…the ā€œaverage team without carterā€ managed to somehow win. Must have all been the refs fault. Maybe he was paid off?

Must of been because the average team doesn’t understand the offside rule. Or the multiple imaginary knock-ons. Or the moon phase was wrong, or jupiter wasn’t in uranus, or an IRB conspiracy.

Personal highlights from the game. (Your milage may vary.)

  1. When I stood up, beer in hand, just before kick-off and screamed at the telly ā€œCooper you stupid fuck, kick the ball out on the full!ā€

And then lo and behold he obliged!

  1. Joubert up Pococks ass all night making sure he didn’t get away with that bullshit again.

  2. After Cory Jane had near perfectly cleaned up the first couple of high balls that came his way…the Aussies not learning and continuing to test him under the high ball.

  3. Dingo Deans admiting they were ā€œBeaten at the tackle area, beaten at scrum time and beaten in the air, beaten by a better team.ā€

  4. Quade Cooper, who really should get NZ player of the year, and who I suspect may be a sleeper agent that Henry had infiltrate the Wallabies and was then activated for the semis, for turning in ā€œthe best performance of the RWC.ā€

O.K thats enough gloating, it was a great game.

Go the welsh for 3rd !!!
