The game between the Wallabies and Springboks (Sat) is going to be very interesting - not sure if the Wallabies can oversome their loss against NZ, playing away from home + SA will be looking to make amends from their recent matches; it’s going to be very entertaining.
Not sure if anyone has posted the 2011 WC pools:
A:
New Zealand
Tonga
France
Japan
Canada

Dang it. This pool really irritates me. I already see France loosing to the All Blacks. And even to Tonga or Japan… lol.

Depends if they self implode due to their dickhead of a manager.
They generally do well in world cups… that kinda makes it sound like they play above themselves i suppose. They are a good team, just so inconsistent. You never know what team will turn up.

France always give the All Blacks a good game. Their record against them is quite good. They even won in New Zealand in 2009 without their best team.
I’d bet my house France will never lose to Tonga, Japan or Canada. Definitely going to qualify, maybe even in first place. The world cup is so unpredictable that NZ could lose to France in the pool stages and still go on to win the whole thing.
Does anyone know if any team has ever gone on to win the whole thing having finished runner up in their group?

I think if France beat NZ, it will do them a huge favour. Like I said previously, NZ destroying every team in their group in 2007 really hindered them. When it came to play a team which was warmed up properly, they lost.
It might be what they need to pull their head out of their arses!
I can’t see either team mounting a serious try in the WC. Wales were poor, and though strong in defence, that job was made easier by Englands complete lack of creativity.
