Hi all

Getting back into the Iron game after a hiatus that should never have been, but anyways.

Decided to start a training log to get me motivated and keep me there, and get overall more involved here on T-Nation.

My goal is to gain 30lbs in 12 weeks. Unrealistic? Perhaps, but I like challenges. (Some of it is muscle to be regained so should be easier)

Once I’ve hit my goals I will take a week off and start to juice, just to keep the gains coming, another 12 weeks of training. Juice 6 wks/taper down the rest.

Going to train hard, eat enough to bulk but not overdo it.

Training: M/W/F

Squats 1x20
Pullovers 1x15
Chin-Ups 3x6
Bench Press 3x6
Tri. Ext. 2x8 *

  • The last exercise will revolve depending on what I want to bring up at the time, for now, it’s Tri’s.

Routine 1 will be heavy, Routine 2 will be speed. Repeat.

Not looking for anybody to attack my routine. I will listen to advice but ignore all flames.

This is just how I’m going to do things for the next 12 weeks. Going to see how well it works before I change anything up.

I will post details of my progress every 1-2 weeks.

I start from Monday.

UPDATE.

Nearly the end of week five.

Gained 5kg (11-lbs) so far.
Gained 1-inch on the arms so far.

Still looking lean, abs are flat, but obviously some fat gain is unavoidable.

My workout has changed as I train arms inbetween the big lifts days, and I train heavy twice per week instead of cycling it. This sounds bad but I go by how I feel.

Haven’t been eating as much as I should, so for the remains of the cycle going to work on that and get in more food.

Otherwise, so far so good.

Wow!!! 5kg??? thats amazing!!!, so what is your goal?

Im curious to see how you progress :slight_smile: very interested.
