Seems quite slow to me. As always when getting back into running, my calves became bricks after a certain point. If I cared enough I’d probably go look at my form but I know with practise my times will come down anyway.

I am horribly allergic to one of the plants in the garden. When I touch it leaves giant welts on my skin. They fade quite quickly though, might be the steroids I was prescribed for my hayfever kicking in

Very challenging workout for me. I want to hit that sub 10:00 mile and a half though. The last time I did that I was maybe 65kg. It’ll be really cool to hit that at 95.

Went out last night, I’m sweating lager but I had a lot of fun. It’s been a long time since I’ve properly socialised and now my social life is exploding with the reopenings and that. Booked a vaccine for Thursday too!

Running program is weird. Today’s workout was run for 14 minutes, rest for 5, then run back for 12:45 and try to cover the same distance. Wasn’t far off but definitely could not have matched it.

The idea is you do the exercise for 30 seconds, rest 30 seconds, and move onto the next exercise. 24C with 70% humidity wasn’t very fun for me. Laugh all you want @anna_5588

Hips are in a really bad state from those single leg deadlifts with weight from earlier in the week. Will definitely not be doing them again

Ehhh, some real humidity (where I live/grew up below 90% is low humidity)

It’s back to rain now which is nice. Indoor workout. Thinking of buying some kettlebells so I can work out more than 3 months of the year. Also moving out next year and I’m not sure I’ll be lucky enough to cart a barbell with me.

It’s been a while. Still alive and happy to hang out with my computer friends again.

  • Started going to 1-on-1 therapy which has been really eye opening.

  • Broke up with my gf of nearly 5 years, I’m actually doing okay.

  • Bought some kettlebells. I want to do something different, weird, and hard for the next few weeks. I’m thinking Dry Fighting Weight with BtM accessories.

Went for a ruck today. ~4km with 15kg in 36:00 flat. Was really challenging for that last 10 minutes

Did a ~4.5km ruck with 15kg in 46:00 yesterday. Some big hills on this route, hence the slower pace. Upper back doms best doms.

hard disagree. When my upper back gets sore, it stresses my arthritic neck → worse sleep than usual
