I’m thinking less Cyborg, more bionic woman.

That is even better, plus it cost slightly less to build me.
Wow, the gym was packed this morning, I was lucky to find parking.
One Arm DB Rows 1x6x45, 3x5x50
Upright Rows 1x8x50, 1x6x60
and somehow I forgot to go back to these and finish…
HS Lat Pull downs 1x10x90, 3x8x140
SLDL 1x12x45, 1x8x95, 2x10x115
I haven’t done these in awhile but they felt good and I think I would like to get back to where I was and see where I can go from there.
Cable Rows 3x10x70
Today was kind of a mish-mash of my Tuesday/Thursday routines. I am hoping once the doctor’s appointments stop things will be normal again for me.
Happy Thanksgiving to my U.S. friends and Happy Thursday to everyone else ![]()
So I had some blood sugar issues and was not able to go to the gym by the end of last week… this sort of situation is kind of new to me… I can only believe that it will NOT become the norm…
Bench Press 1x10x45, 1x6x95, 1x5x115, 3x5x125, 1x2x135
T Bar Row 1x8x55, 2x8x70
HS Iso Row 1x8x180, 2x8x200
Incline DB Bench 2x8x25, 1x8x40
HS High Row 2x8x160
NG DB Bench 2x8x40
I kind of hurt myself during my last set of Bench Press. I was using a different bench then I was used to and the rack for the barbell seemed just a bitfarther away then it should have been for me. When I was putting the last set of 135 away I felt a major knot happen in my right neck/shoulder area. Lesson learned here is to make sure everything is good for you and don’t just work with what you have if you can fix it to make it better.
SLDL 1x10x45, 1x12x95, 2x12x115, 1x8x145
BB Curl 1x8x50, 2x8x60
Seated Leg Press 1x12x180, 1x6x270, 1x6x360, 3x5x450, 1x3x540
DB Curls 1x6x30
yeah, I know…
Tricep Pullovers 1x6x50, 2x6x40
Single Leg Split Squat 2x8x45
Today was the closest I came to doing my full Tuesday workout in a long time. I was a little short on time so the Split Squats suffered but I was getting dizzy anyways so, meh… It still felt good ![]()
Is your pump acting any better?
[quote]JoeGood wrote:

Today it is, yes.
The sensor was placed in a better location and I really do not even notice I am wearing it right now. The nurse and doctor are still working with the pump to get my insulin levels right. They said I would have to fast for half a day and check my BG every hour
>>>> fingers and stomach
DL 1x6x135, 1x5x185, 1x5x205, 1x3x225, 1x1x265 PR*, 1x3x205, 1x8x135
I have been wanting to see if I could hit 265 for the last month and after my last DL day went so great I thought I would give it a go… I wish I had brought a camera ![]()
CG Bench Press 1x10x65, 1x8x95, 3x5x115
BW Dips 1x5, 1x3
I held off on some of my normal stuff, like Goblet Squats, just b/c that DL took alot out of me and I wanted to be able to do the Goblet Squats to completion.
So yeah it was a shorter work out but I think I did good ![]()
Congrats on your deadlift PR! Do you plan on competing?

Thank you!
I would like to but I was going to wait until I moved closer to friends just so I could have someone to train with and go to competitions with.
I would prefer to lift raw but it seems everyone has DL suits and bench suits for meets and I am not really sure where to find a raw PL competition. I also am not so good with the squats so I guess I would have to find a push/pull competion too…

There are several federations that have raw lifters. My last two meets had more raw female lifters then woman using equipment. The fed was APA.
You would do great at push/pull meet. I wouldn’t give up on squatting. It just takes practice.

Bench Press 1x10x65, 1x6x95, 3x5x115, 1x5x125
When I dumped out my gym bag yesterday one of my wrist wraps didn’t get put back so I had to go without them this morning… I had no idea they made such a difference… I felt stupidly weak this morning…
T bar Row 1x8x55, 3x8x70
HS Iso Row 1x8x180, 2x6x230
HS High Row 1x8x140, 2x8x160
Inclined DB Bench 1x8x35, 2x8x40
NG DB Bench 2x8x40
Hey Ronda! I am doing a meet in May that has a couple different divisions to compete in:
Raw: only a belt
Unequipped: Belt + wrist wraps and knee wraps
Equipped: bench shirts, squat suits, etc
It’s in Ky… don’t know if you feel like traveling or not… but it’s just a thought! Oh yeah… and it’s drug tested too =D

From what I’ve seen, Raw is a growing movement. There were around 12 women at my last meet, and maybe 1/2 of us were equipped. I don’t think there is any issue competing raw at a meet that doesn’t have separate raw and equipped divisions, but the equipment does make a huge difference!
Squat the bar. Who cares - go to have fun!!!

I used to squat but I was never able to get my positioning right. I ended up hurting myself and just said screw it. I definently want to I just think I need a bit more constant coaching in that area. The pain I was in just wasn’t worth it to me to keep going at the time.
I was looking at some of the different federations and what some of the women who won pulled raw and I am not really sure if I am strong enough. From what I could understand it seemed like they were pulling 450 at the most… I just hit 265…
