Road to 600KG and Gripper Training

I’ve got a home gym as well. Right now I’m all bumpers and want to buy Atleast 450lbs of steel. I REALLY want some calibrated steel plates for no other reason than they look cool, dumb I know. Been trying to find some Chinese knockoffs but coming up short. It’s crazy how expensive these things are! Knock off calibrated bumpers are a dime a dozen but no lick on steels

I actually went back and tallied everything up in excel and my total is actually closer to $5000… lol

Ive been accumulating things over a period of a few years though so I havent really noticed how much Ive spent. I think I am done for the time being though.

@wanna_be Ive done a bunch of research before buying calibrated steel plates and the cheapest ive found is Rogue.

This damn daylight savings time switch… we had a kid sleepin in till 630-7 every morning. Now he’s waking up between 5-530 every morning since Sunday. Making lifting in the morning very frustrating… lol

Missed my heavy session yesterday bc we’ve been painting all weekend. I literally didn’t even sit yesterday until about 8 pm. Beat to shit.

I think im going to bite the bullet and move over to the Sheiko AI stuff. Downloaded the app today since I have iOS. There is a 30 day observation period where it analyzes your training before it can start spitting out workouts for you. Let the fun begin tomorrow.

I wanted to revisit these numbers from the beginning of the log in 2016.

Current 1RM’s in competition:

Squat - 190KG/418LB
Bench - 120KG/265LB
Deadlift - 237.5KG/523LB

My bodyweight has been hovering around 185-190. So my total has gone up about 200 pounds since i started this log, but most of that has been within the past year after I have figured out to not program hop and stick to the boring training style that works for me. I know the Sheiko style programming has worked for alot of powerlifters, so i have high hopes of putting alot more onto my total in the future.
