Hell yea! 550 deadlift incoming
Lol man I know 550 is a stepping stone but I really want 600 sub 200 bodyweight @idontbrag123
I’m pumped to try this simple deadlift program. I think the extra volume may alone give me a good boost

Nice set man. The shirt sucks. Go Hogs!
Niceeee I see you’ve started the program ![]()
I’ll be honest, 335 started to feel a little heavy there toward the last few reps of the last two sets lol
I’m ready for football season. It’s hard living in the heart of Vols country being a gamecock fan. I get some dirty looks sometimes. (My wife is from this area)
5-0 in the first Hogs lead.
I’ve been watching some of my previous squat videos and was trying to figure out what’s making my right knee aggravated sometimes. This last session where I filmed from the front kind of showed what at least appeared to me is a slight hip shift in the hole causing me to use more leverage in the lift if you will with my right leg. Anybody had any issues with this before?
Haven’t followed much of the baseball season. I remembered seeing a few comebacks. I went to high school with Scott Wingo. He played short stop for the gamecocks when they won the national championship back to back in 2010 and 2011
I believe the knee issues that I do encounter are due to my left foot being flat. It causes my left knee to buckle in slightly. I haven’t had issues with hip shifting, at least not that I’m aware of. I’m not sure how much I can help but I’ll have a look at it when I get home.
I guess I’m just trying to nail it down. I think that’s what my problem is. Whenever I pause the video in the hole it looks like my entire body is more so weighted on my right leg. Not really sure what would cause that? Tight hip flexors or adductors?
I actually thought those reps looked quite clean. Maybe a tiny shift at your sticking point (just out of the hole) but nothing of concern, in my opinion.
I was getting some knee pain (in my right knee) and I now actually point my right toe out slightly more than my left and it seems to have helped. Maybe try a non-symmetrical stance and see if you can find something comfortable.
I decided to try this after I noticed that I point my right toe out more than my left for my sumo deadlift.
Not me, sorry.
I’ve always liked your squat style. Agree with littlesleeper’s comments. Play with foot placement. If you pause your vid at the bottom of your squat in the latest vid you posted, you can see there’s some asymmetry in your knees in relation to your feet. Looks like your right knee is not out over the foot as well as the left. Very minor though.
One thing that may help is to break your decent a bit slower. You are a hair violent/quick. Again, this may or may not help.
Knee issues can be difficult to diagnose. I went through issues for about 8 months. Sometimes it’s simple overuse and tendons/ligaments are inflamed causing a tendonitis.
I’ve always thought you had a very efficient squat. Unlike my complicated accordion style lol.
Play with your stance. I dont see a hip shift, just a small asymmetry.
I looked a few more times, and perhaps do see a very small compensation/shift.
If you can, take a vid of a relatively heavy tempo squat. Might help see more.
Dont forget tripod foot pressure when squatting. Check your foot pressure. You may be favoring a side.
Thanks man I may give that a try next time.
Thanks for taking a look man. I’m supposed to hit a heavy single this upcoming weekend. Maybe I’ll slow it down a bit like you said with a slower tempo and work on that foot placement to see if I can figure out what’s going on.

A tight adductor (up real high) caused some similar problems for me this month. I couldn’t feel it/wasn’t even aware of it until I really focused especially on the area. A little ice helped loosen it up lots.
