I have done two bench only meets this year. 1st in one and 3rd in the other. I am training up for a full meet on November 10th in Webster NY. I will also be in the 198lb Open class. My three events are shaping up well, just need to hammer out some form issues with my bench.
I love to bring my butt up off the bench for some reason, and it will get me red lights everytime. That is why I took third incidently in my last meet. I benched 365lb’s, but it didn’t count due to movement on the upward push. The guy who was neck in neck with me made his last bench and beat me.
I am trying the tucked legs set up, but I instantly cramp up in the hamstrings like that.
Squat is almost 600lb’s, and my deadlift is 430lb’s. I have a brand new camera with digital video capabitility, so I will get some video of me hopefully doing the full 600lb’s soon.
