The Egyptian desert, about 40km outside of Cairo, early 1993. We’re establishing a staging area for deployment to Somalia. My squad gets the bright idea to set up our Temper Tent in a bombed out MIG hanger from the 6 day war. Out of the wind, sun, blowing sand. Transportation guys are moving our conex in and they bump the wall with a fork lift. The motar, stucko type facing crumbles and within 30 seconds the wall’s covered with very large pissed of black scorpions. We relocated post haste.

I like doing explosive floor presses with DB’s, I definitely think you can get a quality muscle contraction with DB’s, the only draw back is safety and not being able to use as much weight as BB.

About halfway thru I started feeling somewhat human!
@oldergoat what grip width on the inclines? Same as flat? Narrower? Wide?
CL- Primarily I do use the same grip which is fairly narrow. My pinky is 1 finger width inside the ring. Occasionally I will narrow it up and do some close grip work , but that is usually to compensate for pec/bicep tendon stiffness./soreness…and congrats on the adequate from Harry…

So, when I got home yesterday I ask Jed if he wanted to go with me to get some sand to fill up a ball. He said yes!
We get down there, get the sand and I am looking for a rock in a non snake infested area…lol
I find one and load it up! OMG! He had a total frickkng meltdown! Why this was such a big deal I have no idea. I heard about it for hours. Ugh!
Anyway I got the rock best I can tell iit is about 67lbs. No problem loading this. When I go to get a bigger one he os staying home! ![]()
