They’ll be good, though.
(More hugs for you both.)

I got fatter just looking at that. ![]()
Freeze it! It’ll make great soup or casseroles. (I kind of really hate waste… lol)
Yes ma’am, the dressing is already in the freezer and we will have sandwiches and turkey salad one more time for lunch tomorrow before the rest goes in the freezer.
I talked to Jed today about certain things he likes to eat. I asked him he preferred store bought or homemade? He picked homemade! ( proud mama moment!)
So, the only junk food we bought today was cereal. He eats a bowl of cereal and a banana every morning.
I’m not taking his honey nut cheerios and rice krispies away.
Oh! And after 5 years of searching… I finally one, a Suzanne Sommers Thigh Master at the thrift store!
This is to add to my amazing collection of As Seen On Tv fitness equipment ![]()

And I guess Walmart is no longer going to carry trampolines in-store. You have to buy them online now. Thanks for nothing Walmart! I’m sure the UPS/FedEx is going to be real happy dragging that out to my house when I order it from Amazon!!!
Finally drug my ass down to gym this morning.
Apparently there has been a bird sleeping in there… again! I shall stalk the culprit this evening.
I mean, I do like birds, I even feed them but, let’s not make a mess in my gym!
Everything needs a good cleaning anyway. They are finally forecasting some decent weather this weekend.
Fired up the heater, and did some stuff.
Airdyne
BW squats with and without booty bands
Lat lunge with bands
BPAs
Blah, blah, blah
I have been crocheting so my upper body is tight!
Too stooopid to learn.
A friend of mine is picking mom’s ashes up today. Yesterday would have been daddy’s birthday.
I am overwhelmed with all the work that needs to be done. So many things that need repairs. All I can do is my best.
My mom, bless her heart, and rest her soul was a micro manager. Whew! It’s hard to breathe without somebody telling me I am doing it wrong. Everytime I start working on something I can hear her ragging my ass. I HAVE to let that go!
But! For all of her faults she always supported me in my in adventures, even if I was doing them wrong!
She bought me my first set of dumbbells, that I still have. She absolutely did not understand my desire to lift heavy things but she supported me anyway. It is time to get back to it.
Let’s do this!!!
Glad you were able to get out there and get some training in! I’m learning that one of the hardest things about being a parent is being patient enough to let your kids screw up and learn from it. And, of course, teaching them how to do all of this random stuff. ![]()
It’s SO good to have you back in here!
Things may feel overwhelming right now - but just chip away at it. You’ll get there.
Hell yeah! And we’re all here to cheer you on and support you! never forget that!
Thanks @QuadQueen! I need all the cheerin on I can get.
Welcome back!
Thanks!
If that’s what helps you get back to in, then play on. LOL
I’m glad to have you back and I dig the new title.
Ok!!!
Good to see you are back
My heart squeezed reading your post. Huge hugs to you. It will all start to feel normal…eventually.
Thank you everyone for Welcome back!
No gym today but packed two 50lb bags of chicken feed down the hill.
Speaking of which… while at the redneck mall I found this! Seed potatoes, and strawberries. (I bought the onion sets last week.)
Who says you can’t buy happiness?
I have never been successful at growing strawberries but, I got a good feeling about it this year! may go back and grab another variety and possibly some blackberries ![]()

Will have to do some serious yardio in the garden to get these onions sets in the ground this weekend… I hope… IF I don’t have to work toooo hard on the tiller but… we’ll see.
I had to look these up to find out what they were. 1 hour 19 minutes into the day and I learned something new already. ![]()
That must mean it’s going to be a good day!
I got the Russets this year. We will see if they make. I usually only find Kennebec down here.
I get lectured by at least one person every year that it is easier and cheaper to just buy things at the store. What’s the fun in that???
After doing my pizza garden last year, I’d definitely disagree. I’ve never gotten flavor like that from anything at a grocery store. The basil and oregano were mind blowing, and it doesn’t get any fresher than picked 5 minutes ago.
