Rising From the Ashes (CL)

No, the dirt is very loose you pretty much and you end up on all fours. But I did pack a fairly heavy water pump up it once. Impressed the hell out of a bunch of old people

In the back of the house the city street is paved so it’s easier on that side. I plan on adding some hill sprints at some point.

And it’s time to get my tire out again. Saw one of my old bosses the othe day and talked him into trying to find me a keg. He asked if I needed a pony keg… ha… ha…ha! Told him I could still kick his ass!

I am planning on going to the river finding me one of those chic rocks to pack around also.

Thanks PPuff! I really was hoping for a few more pounds from all junk.

Thank LittleLee. I just need to stay focused and carry on. Hard to believe that when I was your age I was 180lbs and strong AF!

Warm up the next time I do those bad girl thingys somebody slap me!

DL sumo
1x5/125
1x5/145
1x5/165
3x3/185
3x5/155. Narrowed the stance on these to more of a squat stance. My right hip/ass was just not feeling the love this morning.
And I think the bad girls cause it or at least aggravate it.

Everything felt heavy this morning. Probably because I didn’t go bed and stayed up and worked on some artwork listening to a book. Might not be good for pulling but it is relaxing.

Happy Earth Day!

Went out and dug in the scrap pile, (which is scary!) came up with some boards. Broke out a few tools, and tah dah!
That’s 30 minutes of my life I am never getting back

Now, I have to go to the really scary shed ( I am taking the 20 gauge) and find that silicone slip sheet to put on the bottom of it. This could result in gun fire! Let’s hope not!

Yay! No scary things in the shed!
The sled part is finished, and is it is queno! Now, I will have to work on a harness.

These guys bloom every year and they are multiplying. The blooms don’t last long, but I think they are a beautiful color.

Ok, I really like the homemade sled. I think I want to make one now.

Thanks Crippler! All you need is about an hour and some scraps.

You have started something with that homemade sled. Looks really easy to build.

Lol. It’s extremely simple and hopefully effective.

Well that was depressing!

I’m sorry about your (hard earned it sounds) sadness :(… I like crying in the shower with a can of diet mountain dew times when cryin is what is gunna happen.

I found this for the handy Chicken to make stuff to play with for distraction. That SLED you made is fabulous!

Thanks for the vid brute!
I am just aggravated. My BP has been stuck for a long time. It’s time to just let it go. Worked up to 230 on the trap bar yesterday and noticed I am developing quite a hip shift in that area. Probably why my ass isn’t happy :smirk:
I am a firm believer in… if what you’re doing isn’t working try something else!
Time to tweak things to include some unilateral work to try and straighten things out. (My bench shifts to the left, my pulls shift to the right.) I really need to work on grip strength, especially on the left hand. I have been pulling with a mixed grip and that’s probably not helping with things getting twisted.
I have too my junk/equipment in my lil shed and need a total remodel. At least I have done this long enough now that I know what I want out of it.
After work I’m going to go get a haircut then maybe go down to the river and find me a big rock!
Next project will be to rebuild/ redesign my rack.

OAll morning dumbdog has barking tiward the creek. His is not too smart so, I kept looking for something in the creek. Finally he started barking at the tree! (Eye roll)
And there it was…

A porcupine! We don’t have many here, but I guess he wants to eat here too! Everything else does :rofl::rofl:

Any luck finding a rock? And its always weird seeing a porcupine in a tree.

hold up.
you got a new tire
a new sled , that I covet.

you got a little outdoor strong person gym.

also we had a very very 2 acre weekend property and
my father inlaw brought me a pair of super cheap cleats to mow and weed wack- huge difference.

you can wear those same cleats and run some hills

glad your chin is up.
