Rising From the Ashes (CL)

That’s a popular book! I’m 19th on the list LOL.

Okay, the structure for the deer stand is done. Seriously, this thing is way over built and resembles and tiny or taco shack  Just have to put the finishing touches on, the door and windows. The hardest part is yet to come. Mounting it on a 7ft tall fame and moving 300 yards through the pasture to its final spot.

Built one of these cement wood stoves.
Lots of suitcase carries of sand from the creek.
Packed the 94 lb bag of portland around. Lots of stirring.
This is my first attempt and just cracked it out of the mold. Still rough but I am.happy with how it came out.

Not sure how that cement wood stove works but I want one. Good luck deer hunting. I have several deer my yard every day. They like my apple trees. And I have a flock of turkeys that come through everyday too.

How did I miss this?

Redundancy is only redundant until you need it. Then it’s genius.

2022 is just around the corner, and you don’t need any regrets or lingering doubt about materials or methods when you’re posted up during the zombie deer being ridden by angry armadillos apocalypse.

See? Genius.

Yeah, I could have ground a few more out.

@SkyzykS Drug my ass up to the shop and put a stand on a moose and bent some rebar today. Started lightning before I got it glued together, but I can already tell my new helmet is going mucho better.

Now we’re talkin’!

That is awesome. I like your work already. Doing that well while fighting gear is really no small feat. I’m moving off of the fence slowly toward a new hood. I’d like to get one with the bigger view window, I just hate giving up on something that isn’t completely broken.

I can say without hesitation that the sky is the limit for you now. :+1:Your bending, forming, and fit up really are top notch.

My tree buddy was kinda surprised at first. I was working on a few things for the stump grinder that took like, about 12 hours of fabrication and fit up, all finished off with about 10 minutes of weld time.

He was walking around the work area going “All that for about 10 minutes of welding! Wtf!?!”.

I really like that pic. I assume that with lighting it will be animated to give the appearance of motion?

That’s how it goes for me!

Yes. The reindeer is driving a jacked up 4x4 pick up and is chasing grandmaw. Turn the light controller up enough and she can haul ass
