It seems like you might get home faster by walking if you’re going to keep missing your bus stop. And since it’s just part of getting back home it’s like free cardio.
Yeah i might as well walk most the time. I like walking anyway
Walked past this place that had all you can eat ribs and wings for $30… resisted going in. When i start the program I’ll reward myself on deload week
Don’t catch the bus for a week and save the bus fare for a treat.
I can afford to eat out about once a week - every second week but i figure no point consuming a shittonne of calories (4k-10000 in one sitting if my body doesnt deserve it) if i dont take the bus to je gym and from the gym il only save about $5 bux a week. I need to take a bus to the gym otherwise if i walk there i wont have as much time to lift before the functional area gets used for a class. If i dont take a bus after the gym i can save abour $2.80 a week
If you train 200 or so days a year (that’d be about 4 days a week) you’ll save $560 every year by not taking the bus back
Sounds pretty good to me if you have enough free time to walk back
No thats for the whole week i meant, i’d save 2.80
Ya i plan on walking back on days I’m not busy or cooking meals
I made a big curry ( eaten some and some in other containers)
1kg chicken
6 cups of cooked rice
Capsicum
Mushrooms
Onion
Garlic
Tastes awesome
Heres my daily eating guideline:
Lots of sodium so salt on all meals
3-4 litres of water everyday
Breakfast:eggs, oats, blueberries, banana, greek yoghurt. If i don’t have eggs I’ll have greek yoghurt and sometimes I’ll put greek yoghurt in my oats when I’m having eggs.
Meal 2
Something easy like peanut butter sandwiches (natural peanut butter)
Meal 3 whatever I cook for my meals at dinner, so i alternate between ground beef and pasta like spagbog or chicken and rice. E.g curries or something. All have veggies in it.
Meal 4 oats, banana, or something else carby for preworkout + always fruit. If im not at the gym I’ll eat it anyway.
Meal 5 same as lunch
Meal 6 greek yoghurt, honey, banana etc
I also eat oranges whenever i feel like it too. Anddd im not hesitant to eat donuts every now and then either.
I’m ordering some protein tomorrow so I’ll be having about 3-4 scoops of that everyday
Around here you have to pay at least 3€ for a bus, no matter how short of a distance you’re going
So, you could save around $145 in a year
It’s still money
Damn thats expensive, buses for students cost 0.60 -70 i think otherwise its 0.90 for people without a smart rider and adults
That’s if for 52 weeks in a year i went 4 days a week and walked home.
There is no way in hell im walking 40 mins in the sun when it’s summer. Screw that I’d get burnt to the shithouse and overheat. Also i wouldn’t walk in the rain too, just to save $145 in a year
I’d kill for those prices.
I walked an extra hour per day to save 84€ a year in gym membership while in upper secondary
Nice! I mean i like the rain except everytime i walk in the rain i end up sick so I’d rather avoid that
Everythings so expensive where you are!!
So even the rain is trying to kill you in Australia?
Ever wondered why I am so skimpy and work so much?
Pretty much ![]()
Why is everything so expensive?
10 mins mobility/foam rolling/stretching
Feeling way more mobile today. Thinks its from starting school and walking alot + the daily mobility/stretching work.
Grip training
Hand bands
Reps with trainer and 1
Attempt at 2, closest I’ve ever gotten i think.
40 second hold with 1
18 reps with trainer
Actually, I’ve never looked into that. I’d guess it has to do with the fact that Finland is pretty small and the population isn’t too big either; workforce and land is valuable. That’s only a guess though, someone smarter can probably clarify it
