MMA training 1:30 hrs

Today was a boxing only session, going into today’s class well Jeez i was tired from the footy today! Great session nonetheless.

Warmup: jogging, side to side jogging etc
Stretches

100’s
50 jabs
50 uppercuts
50 hooks
50 crosses

Combo 1:
Left jab to right body cross to double jab, working this combo on your partner for 50 repetitions.

Combo 2
Left jab to right body cross to left hook to double jab. Again 50 repetitions

Defense with combo:

Now putting it all together with defense,
Combo 1 same as before except partner is moving back and your moving forward. Once you finish the combo your partner hits you (using the defensive pads or whatever there called, they do a left right sort of thing and you block it like this)

Then you do the combo again. Doing this until you get to the end of the mats, then turning around going back the other way with partner.

Combo 2 with defensive, same as 1

Nice job, looks like fun :slight_smile: Btw, I used to take karate, was excellent in sparring. The boys never took it easy on me, I think it pissed them off that they couldn’t land a kick or punch and they would come after me with even more zeal! Girls are tougher then you think!

Boxing would be awesome! I took karate for about 5/6 years when I was younger! Great for self defense if anything.

But the world will be safer once the libtards get all their gun free zones. I’m sure they’ll add fist free zones soon after and everyone will be required to wear mittens. They’ll also ban sharp corners and edges to save us from boo boos.

He would have to with that discussion! I am canadian, I have never touched a gun. We have a different gun culture here, and I am definitely not qualified to have an opinion.

It all depends if you go to a good gym or not. I went to the only one around because I really wanted to try. The training was great and I learned a lot but when it came to actually having an all out fight it didn’t happen. I can hold my own :roll_eyes: even if I didn’t piss anyone off enough to come at me. I did boxing for a year and a half before moving. I had a little bit of boxing with MMA so knew some basics before. I can’t wait to get my strength back!

I can do some cooking and do stuff! Yay.

Made some Chicken Chicken noodles i invented. They taste delicious! Heres the Recipe:

Ingredients:
3 packets of 70g chicken noodle cups
2 chicken breasts
Lemon juice
Whatever veggies you want but make sure to have onion
Whatever spices and herbs you desire
Olive oil

Cut up 2 chicken breasts and put in a mixing bowl, add a little bit of curry powder, parsley, chicken stock powder, sea salt or whatever herbs and spices you desire. Add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice too.

Veggies:
get veggies of your choosing but i like to have onion for the flavour. Cut up onion separate and then whatever other veggies. Today i used mushrooms and spinach.

Noodles:
Put noodles in a large microwaveable bowl and fill until covered with boiled water, add the 3 chicken noodle flavour sachets.
Cover with something for a few minutes until noodles are cooked.

Brown the onion with some olive oil than add the remaining veggies, cooking them to 3/4 cooked

Add in chicken and mix through. Cook chicken until properly cooked, it should be nice and moist.

Turn off heat, now drain the chicken noodles liquid into another bowl seperating the noodles, put the noodles in the chicken and mix through, add enough chicken noodle liquid to keep the noodles moist and not dry, if you prefer a little more liquid then add more.

Now enjoy your Chicken Chicken noodles
