I will study this. I think It is multiple things at once added together, I just have to find all of those things and eliminate them/work on them.
Ill say it again, you dont have to go at this alone. Finding a good therapist and getting on the proper medication could make a world of difference.
cough drugs are my bandaid for depression, restless sleep, self-hatred, crippling insecurities, and my apparent inability to make important decisions or concentrate on anything ever cough
You’re drinking brown water then
never might be a too strong word. you have trained and competed in strongman and have had relations with females, clearly there are something living in you. I can understand that you want more energy than what you already have because, who doesn’t want that. i propose that you try and fine tune your energy levels instead of looking for radical solutions and apply consistency and moderation to your training. too much and hard training can hit you in ways that was difficult to foresee, lethargy might be one of them. just my 2 cents.
True lol. Its just limited
Thanks man! Yeah I’m definitely more tired from training but either way I feel trash. I know some people with endless energy so I want to find there secrets!!!
I feel like id need like 2 litres of coffee for it to have any effect haha. I love good tasting coffee though
Todays training
Banded push press 5×5 45kg
Back squat 85kg 7×4 back squats getting better each session! Only second week doing them but happy with technique advancements.
Hamstring curl
30,35,40,50 ×10
Rear delts 100 reps. Good sesh apart from physical fatigue
@FlatsFarmer I have noticed an improvement already! I was skeptical of the exercises while I was doing them because I felt stupid, but in the end I would be stupid for not doing them. Todays squat session my hips felt noticeably different then usual. I felt like I could reach depth easier/There wasn’t much clicking or popping.
That’s great news Duke.
No issues (tightness or pain) during stretches? Both sides worked OK in the little glute moves? It didn’t take too long to get through?
A little pain in the left hip flexor after hip flexor stretch, Also trouble activating my left side in the clam shells/Abductor moves. Left side is the most jacked up
Alright. I think you should wait a day or two to give your legs a chance to recover. Then I think you should roll around/dig around in your left thigh/quad looking for tight spots or lumps.
You can use your cricket ball, PVC, a roller, whatever you’ve got. I use a ball and a piece of PVC myself. Have you done this kinda stuff before?
Do you mean rehab/all the clamshell stuff? Then no. If you mean dig around loosening up tight spots then yes. The best my hips felt recently was after a deep tissue massage/ Remedial massage. The lady worked a tonne on pressure points/Working on my abs/Hip areas. Unfortunately it’s too expensive. Here is the constantly tight areas
OK, the idea is that you can work on some of these pressure points yourself. With short, dense muscles it can work better than stretching.
You just have to learn how to do it.
try the airplane roll.
stand on on leg with the other leg pointing back. reach out with your arms thus your body save for your standing leg resembles an airplane. then let the airplane roll by rotating your hips such that one side of your body points down and the other side points up.
not only does this exercise work the hips it also works the standing foot. i attribute to the airplane roll the fact that i got rid of the plantar fascitis in my heels.
Go running, you won’t like it, it goes against everything you think you should be doing strength training wise but you’ll sleep better. Put head phones in, tunes you like on loud and run, when your lungs hurt keep running, when your legs hurt keep running. Run, you’ll sleep well if you run alot. Your knees can take it your young. Run.
Indeed
What’s plantar fascitis?
I mean Id go for a light jog but running till I can’t run anymore seems contradictive to recovery and gaining weight.
If you don’t get twitches it wasn’t strong enough
I recall you drinking insane amounts of coffee?
This is just a list of the foods you eat that isn’t what I asked. Fatigue is often a sign you are either doing to much or recovering too little. At your age given your body is still growing as well as changes happening in your brain the body needs a lot of rest and also consistent proper food. I often see you post about eating 2 pizzas or doughnuts or some other poor food choice. I think if you looked more closely at your diet and rest you may find the answer you are looking for.
When was the last time you kept a good diary for a week and properly recorded and tracked what you were putting in your body and at what time of day. See if you can put the same amount of effort you put into your training into tracking your diet and rest.
