Apparently loaded lifting and other companies use rebranded Chinese Ali baba shit. I got one of my own but it’s already lost potency after a couple months. Gonna get me some of that SkullSmash only a little bit more expensive but fuaaark.

I chucked it out. It was shit. It was weak as hell. I took off the lid again and then sniffed it in training sesh lmao( you’re not meant to do that). Idk but at states strongman i tried some from this dude and it was strong as shit. Ima ask him what brand

SkullSmash

I’ll look into it. I aint want none of that cheap shit

todays training
No warmup. 0 time to spare

ssb squat
8×3 @65% short rest periods because time. Accidentally did 10 extra lol was brutal 80kg.

yoke speed runs
The 6ds mouthpiece helps extremely. 180kg for speed runs

4 sets ×20 metres. Fast. Footwork was good and stable, kept feet in closer. Also chalked upper back and it helped with stability from the sweating. Best yoke has been so far!!!

atlas stone
Soooo close to getting the 110kg stone boi.

Used tacky and i used to much i think. Any how after some discussion with @strongmanbrett realised it was too far away from my body. Will be working on that. Also creating more tension in my back. Good to see the strength was there :eyes:

rant!
Fuck the government, fuck shitty doctors ( i respect doctors for what they do, but some are useless and have to google to diagnose!)

“But a delayed operation tends to be less successful than if it’s fixed straight away, because with a fresh break your body produces substances which encourage the growth of new bone: with an older fracture you don’t have this.”

Heres why my collarbone grew so much larger on one side. The break enocuraged growth of new bone so it caused a growth spurt and from there as the years went on one side was alot longer than the other. I’m lopsided too. One shoulder is also pulled forward a little structurally. (Left)

I should have gotten an operation but instead doctors said to put it in a sling and let it heal. “they’ll be told that aside from wearing a sling, nothing needs to be done because the bone will join in time - and with a simple, clean break, this often happens.” Obviously the collarbone wasn’t a clear break. It must have been fractured in multiple places.

the severity of the collarbone break required surgery but how did the doctors not realise this? When i was little i climbed on a roof, there was shadesail across from it supported from beams/vertical wooden sleepers. I walked on that and fell through it and went to snap city. I remember it to this day crystal clear because it’s the only bone I’ve broken and that shit hurt.

Now fuck the goverment:
When i was younger there was a needle for 18 month old babies. It was known to cause problems in babies but yet the goverment kept giving it out, to make money!! I was completely fine up until that point. The 18 month old needle caused me to develop Epilepsy, high functioning autism, ADHD, low amount of terrets which has gotten alot better. Also i developed 6 cists in my brain (luckily they shrunk, but theres still a chance i could drop dead). I dont know if its caused from that as well but I’ve had serious anxiety and depression/ and other mental health problems too. God nows what other problems but i have alot. I’ve been to the doctors thousands of times. When i was younger i had to go to the hospital constantly for mri scans, other brain scans, Speech therapists because i couldnt speak properly, psychologists blah blah blah. FUCK THE CORRUPTED goverment. Assassinate me bitches. The goverment is corrupted as hell. Unrrlated but sort of related: a bunch of scientists discovered a cure for cancer but miraculously all died. More like assassination! Earns to much money for the goverment. Stupid ass goverments all over the world and people in power abusing it

Yeah goverment and stupid doctors fucking me up lol

Alright, Duke, you had a good rant and got it out. Now you have to let that stuff go. You can’t fix it and assigning blame doesn’t change it.

There are two types of people in life: victims and survivors.

Victims point the finger and feel bad about themselves whenever something bad happens to them. It’s the governments fault. It’s that guy’s fault. I bust my ass and that guy is lazy – he should suffer and I should succeed.

It’s kind of human nature to have those thoughts initially.

Survivors thrive in any environment. They adapt and overcome their circumstances. They give their best effort and do the best they can with the hand they’re dealt.

I first officially learned about this from a book called Emotional Survival for Law Enforcement. Bad things happen at work and it’s not just the calls. Internal strife is everywhere. I didn’t get picked for the specialty unit. I didn’t get promoted. I was #1 on the list and they skipped me because they like someone else better. That crap happens to everybody. Some cops just piss and moan and start to do the bare minimum. Others keep working and become the best no matter what their position is.

I know you’re not a victim and you were just venting. But I wanted to throw this out there to remind you about the right mindset. You’ll just have to be the hardest working, best damn lifter with a fucked up collar bone in the land.

Yeah man. Sometimes it’s good to vent it out. It is frustrasting but regardless it could be worse, At least i still have all my limbs!

That’s the spirit! You follow Brian so I’m sure you’ve seen some of his clients who don’t have all their limbs putting in work.
