RIP Charlie Kirk

Oh right.

Enjoy it.

Unless, of course, it was the author’s intent to place the blame on the Jews. Perhaps that is why Pilate washing his hands appears in only one Gospel.

Alright. With Kirk dead, do you think Trump is worried they’ll find his other horcruxes?

One can only hope.

Thanks for that point. I can add that supporting point that Matthew was primarily written to the Jews. There is too much iffy doctrine in Matthew concerning the Church.

My group chat with the boys has no rules. Nothing is off limits. The memes and jokes about kirk assassination have been tame in comparison to what usually goes on. It’s harder to thread the comedy needle in this case.

Actually the people around 50 lived in the greatest time in this country, the 1990s.

You are a young man in what’s becoming the most shit time. I feel bad for you and even worse for your kids.

The 1990s were freaking awesome. I was a bit young to experience the real greatness though.

With that comment you made it abundantly clear that you are not a car guy. The 1980’s and ā€˜90’s had horsepower strangled.

Clearly, the Muscle Car era was the greatest period to have lived in the USA. (But the Vietnam War was the thorn in everyone’s side.)

Id say late 80s myself.::slightly_smiling_face:

I agree with you RT in fact I’m actually very mad that I wasn’t alive or way too young for that.

I really only said the 1990s because things were also really good economically and job wise. There was some racial tensions but for the most part everyone got along well. Jobs were good for all people from what I remember, I worked in the inner city, blue collar.

Yeah late 80s I remember the older kids all had a classic car and working on them in the neighborhood in the street laying under the car on a board. Good times!

Only issues were back in my area the older kids were either metal heads or skaters and they fought each other. In 1990 it was finally cool to ride a skate board wearing a metal T-shirt.

Which era had the best music?

64-74

Late 80s

90s

Where was my favorite era for music?

Pre 1900s

Sibelius is good, but there are others I like more.

Honestly. There are great modern bands. But if Led Zeppelin is powerlifting, Chopin is weightlifting.

Best music was 1980s

Late 70s was horrific.

Late 60s was prelude to hardcore.

Frank Zappa is still the greatest though. He was doing 80s hair band geetar solos in 1973 and doing albums with Tina Turner. Zappa was music’s OG.

Cliff Burton was the real deal.

Metallica Justice album might be the greatest Warrior lifting music ever made!

BTW, Kirk Hammet is the most boring geetarist IMO, Actually I liked Kirk AFTER Justice, he finally got interesting.

……it’s so strange……

Not a bad pick.

Originally I was thinking of the 90s vs the Muscle Car Era. 2 time periods you guys mentioned as Great times in the USA.

Both eras are remembered for solid music.
