RIP Charlie Kirk

Yes, that’s all I meant, along with what I saw as shifting views. Ill will on him never crossed my mind.

Same with “influencers” like Laura Loomer who were criticizing Charlie a couple weeks ago.

That’s stupid and not a conservative belief at all.

As usual, the government will use this as an excuse to further reduce our rights and privacy.

That guy is flexing power he doesn’t have.

Noisily and carelessly.

Yeah there should be no censorship from government entities.

Let them out themselves, so we can ruin them publicly and make sure they are never employed again and lose any licenses they have.

Well, I wasn’t familiar with Clay Higgins but now he’s on my shit list.

This is becoming a rallying cry and show of solidarity for people who champion Family Values. Maybe ahead of Conservatism even.

With this post Rep Higgins show’s hes “in”.

And if it turns out he doesn’t have the authority to do what he mentioned, at least he got some publicity.

I would hate to see govt silence free speech, and from what I’ve seen of Charlie he would to. He was a principled guy, hence the way out of context quotes about “some lives are worth it” or whatever. In context he was literally discussing intent of the second amendment, not flippant violence of course.

I personally would be more interested in investigating leftist politicians who allegedly heavily “influenced” social media platforms to lean and moderate left as a tool of dialogue control.

A private platform with rules of engagement and community standards is one thing, but social media is today’s “fireside chat” and a legitimate communication platform in general. If democrats and politically aligned progressive think-tanks were censoring public speech and altering perception I would love to see an investigation.

Stephen King got tricked by a Kirk soundbite taken out of context.

“In a now-deleted post, King claimed Kirk advocated stoning gays to death”

Later he apoligized and admitted he had been misinformed.

Is he off the hook?

Why not? After a careless comment, what more can he do other than admitting his mistake?

I respect those who own their idiocy.

I do too, but that doesn’t absolve you from consequences.

He will be sued and should be. I’ll even donate / help in the suit.

Really good read.

Bullets and Ballots: The Legacy of Charlie Kirk – The Scholar’s Stage

Then consider:

“I have to be careful how I say this, they’re going to try to ethnically cleanse Gaza, and I don’t use that term lightly.”

“I have less ability… to criticize the Israeli government than actual Israelis do. And that’s really, really weird.”

On Megyn Kelly “Tucker Carlson exposes that after Kirk went to the White House to urge Trump not to strike Iran, he received “massive abuse” and “intense” messages from his donors and made a lot of “real enemies.”

Also:

How credible? Not sure but, not far-fetched.

Now why would they want him, silenced? Why is Shapiro now running TPUSA? Charlie had a lot of influence, especially on the younger generation.

I’m pretty sure he isn’t.

Yeah, I couldnt find any confirmation either.

No…he knew what he was doing and he caught the backlash just like all the other brain dead liberals that have been fired for making stupid comments about the death of an innocent man

It’s almost horror movie season, I hope this doesn’t mess up my access to King movies.

And God agrees:
Genesis 8:22, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

If you plant that seed, don’t be shocked when it becomes harvest time.

The 1st Amendment protects your right to free speech, but Genesis 8:22 gives some additional enlightenment.

Anyone have any thoughts about Kash Patel testifying before Congress?

I saw a few headlines saying he could expect tough questions about “missteps” in the hunt for the assassin.

Personally, I don’t think he did too bad a job. I would like to hear about the 2 non-guilty guys brought in, butbi dont think he personally had much to do with that.

I expect a few politicians to look silly repeating some dumb, gotcha questions that have already been answered.

But does anyone think Patel will face serious heat?
