Try this prowler work Dday

kmcnyc- Thanks man. Next week the search begins.

OG- it’s getting easier every time.

DJ- So you’re going full bore crazy, that spartan looks like a bitch. When do you go? There isn’t a Spartan run close to me or I’d consider doing it. From the videos I’ve watch of the WD I’ll be ok now but kicking up the training can’t hurt.
I’ll give y’all a full report once the race is over. 3 weeks from today.

The wife did the spartan last year, I dont know when the next one is. Yes crazy for sure. Man I need to go in the garage and work out today, but the 18 hour day yesterday of driving and work has me beat down.

Freaking crazy! It must be easier to get traction on that surface than on asphalt, I slip and slide with 400lbs. Can’t tell if that’s really an econo Prowler or something they built but either way I can’t believe that it held together.

I think would be easier to just push a car. Never loaded mine up for the big push, mine is always about explosion and just working on cardio. I have always just pushed in the grass and I slip and slid.

Damn dude, driving wears me out and now to go lift in the Texas heat, hope you got some AC in the garage.

Check out this video. Warrior Dash 2011 Florida - YouTube

This guy also ran the Spartan and said it was WAY harder than the WD. After watching this video and seeing all the congestion at the obstacles my confidence is pretty high. My goal is to walk very little, hopefully not as all.

Still debating about the working out, the wife is working today so she is going to workout tomorrow. I am debating to just go do it tomorrow.

Long driving wears me out knees ache, low back aches and just mentally out of it. I need to get the sand out of the vagina, but I dont think one day rest and hit it tomorrow is to much to ask.

After that drive no one’s gonna blame you if you take a day off. However there is no excuse for me not lifting today other than just being lazy.

Off topic: 229lbs today and thought I’d try on some clothes that hadn’t fit since I was 214lbs. Right now everything fits just like it did then. Must be doing something right and my wife says my waist area is smaller than it was then. Time to get some pictures.

I didnt even get off my ass until about 6:30 last night, went and had sushi, sake and Sapparo. Today I worked out, fucking hot outside even at 8:30 in the morning.

Sushi sounds awesome. It’s hot as balls here too, 102* at 7:30p.

I know right.

I think the warrior dash is going to be a breeze for you. I went into it think it would be hard and frankly was disappointed in how easy it was.

To add perspective I have a friend who is about 6’ 2" 330lbs who does no lifting or endurance training who finsihed it. Now his time was terrible but he did finish with absolutely no training of any kind.

Fixed that for you Joe

Dang, that’s dishearting Joe, was kind of hoping for a bit more of a challenge. Still gotta train hard though, come hell or high water I’m beating my coworkers

DJ- NICE! I think you’ll enjoy Dave’s perspective on training mentallity.

^ Its like anything else Dday when it comes to these types of competitions. You could run the boston marathon, you may walk the whole damn time, but you can tell people you ran it.

Go into this with the thought of busting ass, then have a good time afterwards. That is what this kind of things are for, good healthy adult fun. I plan on doing a couple of these a year with the wife and friends.
