I love Bullpups. So… the answer is very apparent. Either a Mini 14 w/ Bullpup conversion (or something similar like the M17S) is what I am after.[/quote]

Did somebody say “bullpup”?

Another view of the same weapon. After my last few posts, no prizes for guessing what rifle this is a conversion of.

No, it’s not mine. I wish.

thanks Varganir. i also looked up the fulson armory rifles. i am in love with the mk 14 , but it will be a while before i can afford one.

To any former British Military out there, what is your opinion of the SA80?

Oh sweet Jesus! That bullpup made me jizm in my blues!!!As for that SA80,looks like a solid rifle but I got to have a bullpup.Good job on this thread fellas as it is one of the better ones on this site! ^ bump on this one for sure.

If you can get some rounds out of an SA80. the try it in a “dynamic” situation where you gotta move around. Shortly you will notice that the mag release can be hit with your ribs when you are chest riding it. Some mates of mine in the aussie SAS get to train with it a bunch and have similar problems with the mag release. Also the Beta C mags are a pain int he ass with these things too. Unless you shoot with a big chicken wing like a terrorist the Beta C is kinda always in your way. But on a positive note the beta C keeps you from ejecting the mags, your ribs can’t get too close.

If you can keep the mags in the gun then it’s as hot as you are. goes where you point it within realistic engagment range. Looks fukin cool as hell too obviously.

I used it in a dynamic course with the wooden cutouts (much better than steel targets IMO if you can make them). For me it was like:

“Ha ha! The wooden enemy!”

Bang Click Click Click-click

“Waht the f*k!?”

looks at mag on ground

“hmmmmmm…”

I just got my first Muzzie, a Zoauve Musket repro in .58 caliber.

Now I gotta learn how to do the white smoke thing.
