Ridley Scott's Robin Hood

Sir Maximus of Loxley!!!lol

Well…I never thought I’d get excited for a Robin Hood movie. Anyways, from the trailer…it looks as if Ridley Scott has brought his A-game once again. And Russell Crowe looks a good fit and seemed to whipped back into shape for the role.

Add in Cate Blanchett,William Hurt,Danny Huston, and Kevin Durand…and it looks as if we have another well-anticipated movie coming in May.

i know quite a few of the extras in this, said it was fun. at least the producers arn’t claiming historical accuracy

lol, does Ridley Scott direct movies without Russell Crowe anymore?

Looks cool. What’s the likelihood of some good boobage?

About as often as Tony Scott does movies without Denzel Washington…lol.

If I was a director/producer…I would milk having a guaranteed good actor in my movies, too.

“ya see I would like to share this classic tale with the young folks so they can learn a valuable lesson, ya see.”

Looks great!

I’m just happy Seth Rogan ain’t in it.

lol

Everytime I hear “Robin Hood,” my mind immediately goes to Men In Tights

PS- I am leaving myself completely open to attack here

Gotta be better than that pile of shit Kevin Costner did 17 years ago.

Ridley Scott knows how to make movies dark and mysterious, I am glad he took the controls on this one. Looks like another great one in the works.

Yep…that’s very peculiar, nate. You definitely need to see this movie to help you with that problem…lol.

Well, he made an epic masterpiece from the mess “Gladiator” started out as. The guy can definitely pull a rabbit out of a hat.

You can see the similarities with this movie and Gladiator for sure.

I’ve even wondered what The Passion of the Christ would have been like with Scott at the helm.
Gibson did a great job, but as with most of his films there’s somewhat of a self-conscious element in the mix that I find irritating and lacking in credence. IMHO.

I’m excited for Ridley Scott and I’mma let him finish, but Daffy Duck was the best Robin Hood of all time.

Yeah, he does body double and HD face work for Russell Crowe, for when ol’ Russell’s not looking so camera friendly.
