I was hoping Ridley Scott would have done Transformers, I would have liked to see it darker, and not so kiddie. After all, the target audience should be us (the 30 somethings) who were kids when the cartoon was popular.

Some of the best movies ever made, are when the villain is even better and more impressionable than the hero. No one cared about Luke Skywalker once Darth Vader stepped onto the scene, and more people were interested in learning about Vader and the Sith more than learning about Luke (sorry not trying to hijack).
