Review My Last Bloodwork?

So I’ve been on trt now for 8 months now, and I just had another blood work completed. Just for reference, I started on the typical 200mg testosterone cypionate once weekly. Immediately following I began feeling amazing (honeymoon period). Right before my next blood work, I started experiencing high e2 symptoms. My blood work confirmed it. I was put on Anastrozole, which quickly crashed my e2. Thanks to this forum, I got off the Anastrozole, and began doing eod injections. For 2 different blood draws, everything was great. I then switched to ed injections. So this last blood work was for 9 weeks of 28 mg testosterone cypionate ed injections. I feel great, and have no complaints. I’m purely posting this, to see what the professionals think. I’ve been exercising 5 times weekly, and eating a very clean diet. I’m at 205 pounds, with an 18% body fat (recently started counting macros). Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

One more thing I forgot to mention, is that I’ve also been taking 65mg of nature thyroid twice daily.

Not related to your lab numbers per se - but what lab company did you or your provider use?

There have been debates on other threads about reference ranges getting lower and lower year over year… And your ranges are as high as I’ve seen.

My trt dr sends the blood work to vibrant America.

Interesting. Thank you

I wouldn’t change a thing.

well you probably know you are taking too much thyroid meds. That T3 is over range.
Your TT and Free T are a bit high for a TRT protocol. But your HCT doesn’t seem to mind. That said your E2 is off the chart but if your libido and dick is still working and you are not crying at every sad story you can probably run this high TT/FT/E2 until you can’t. There are other things to worry about but by looking at your bloods I’m guessing you are in your 30s am I right? If you were in your 50 with these numbers you would be slowly cooking your heart. Best of luck I hope my reading of your blood prove an interesting read.

Hrdlvn, I found your post very interesting. I should mention that after my bloodwork, is when my dr increased my thyroid medication. He also switched me from armour thyroid, to the nature throid. I must admit that I do feel better on it. I do get a tiny bit jittery on my evening dose. But it only lasts for 30 minutes or so. I am 36 years old. My family does have a history of heart issues. So I am curious what you mean by cooking my heart. What should I change to better my chances of not being hard on my heart. Since I was a teenager I have always been borderline with my blood pressure. I fluctuate between 75 over 125, to 80 over 140. I’d really like to hear what you think I should do. I’m no expert here, so I’d really like to learn. I plan on being on trt for life. So I’d really like to do this right. Thanks for your help. :+1:

Anyone?

I think this says it all.

What more are you looking for in someone else’s opinion of your blood work? If you feel good and it ain’t broke… Keep doing what makes you feel great!

I’m assuming you are going through a licensed medical professional for TRT? If you aren’t confident in the care they are giving you, then find someone different you trust will do this right for you?

I’m no doc so I don’t have all the techy terms down. It has something to do with Left Ventricular Dysfunction after long term exposure to excessive T. Everyone is different so there is no one line in the sand you should not cross.

I’m just curious about what you saw in my blood work that made you think that? Solely the high test levels? Thanks.

At first my doc seemed legit, but the more I see him, and the more I read here, the more I’m seeing that he doesn’t understand trt as much as he thinks he does. I’ve made changes to my protocol due to things I’ve read here, and it’s been for the better. I have no complaints as of right now. I just wanted to post my labs to see if anything popped out to anyone. My doc says everything looks good. I’m just checking here to verify he knows what he’s talking about. He’s taken on so many clients, that I hardly get a 5 minute conversation with him anymore.

Meta analysis bullshit.

If you think you’re going to find a doc that is going to tell you any different then you’re mistaken. It is what it is. If you’re able to do your own changes then I’d say stay with the doc or if it out isn’t too much more expensive look into defy or one of the other similar ones.

He feels a total T of 1000 or more can cause heart problems down the road. He very well may be correct but since I require 1000+ to feel decent it’s a chance I’m willing to take. We are all individual and things will effect us differently. My grandfather who never smoked died of esophageal cancer at the age of 55. My other grandfather worked for Marlboro for 50 years and smoked reds and died at 92 because a doc fucked up a simple surgery and killed him. Luck of the draw.

He let’s me make my own changes which is nice. Can anyone recommend a great trt doc in Arizona?

What do want from said TRT doc? They are just going to experiment on you with doses until you feel right. No one knows the secret formula.

If your doc can give you access to T cyp, anastrozole, HCG and is willing to run all the blood test you ask for there really isn’t anything else you need to tune your self in. You do need to be careful who you take advice from on these forums there are some real crazies out there trying to play doctor and yet don’t have their own protocol tuned in.
