Just an update here…I used a Swiss ball to do the reverse hyper and felt great glute squeeze and activation. No lower back pain. I included a band around calves for greater resistance.
I didn’t think using the ball would really make a difference but after @anon71262119 suggested a similar type movement on the bosu ball, I decided to give it a go.
