I saw Curry play against Duke, he is a great talent. Good pick for y’all.
Yeah, but it is the Warriors, so we’ll manage to fuck it up somehow. ![]()
LOL!!! Sorry not laughing at you, but just the comment. It’s true though. So much talent, time to pull it together. Need a veteran leader though to advance.
I saw Curry play against my Sooners earlier this year. He put up 44 in our house, he’s sick! Yeah your back court will be small, but that’s Nellie’s style of ball.
And I’m a 49ers fan also, been a Niners fan since I was a kid. Growing up in Oklahoma, everyone was a Cowboys fan, I didn’t like them, and Montana to Rice was beautiful to watch, hence being a Niners fan. I like Singletary, he is good for the team. I’m just not sold on Crabtree though, don’t like his attitude, but he can play. Maybe he’ll be another T.O.
Hope your back gets better soon.

Well, I probably got the best news I’ve had in a while regarding the Warriors. Rumors is that Cohan is aggressively looking to sell the team. This is a good thing for the future of the franchise. Cohan has been the worst thing for them, and from day one, all he’s done is make mistake after mistake. They need to go in a new direction and that has to start at the very top.
It may take a year or two before something happens, but I think it will happen. I heard Cohan is just done at this point, so it’s just a matter of time. There are already two potential buyers, one being the group that holds the minority interest in the Warriors, and the other being Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison. I guess Ellison has already talked to Cohan a few times, but they are still haggling over price.
Plus, I heard the Stoudamire deal is still going to happen. I’m not as against it as I was a few weeks ago, but my concern is that they are dumping the wrong salary. Biedrins has a very reasonable contract for a starting center with his numbers. I’d much prefer they dump the salaries of either Jackson, Maggette or Ellis, but I would think that only Ellis has any real trade value at the moment. I still maintain that if Curry is playing well this year, that Ellis will be gone by the trade deadline.
Of course as I say this, I’m listening to an interview with the Warriors’ GM and he just said that he and Nelson have said that they are both content with the roster they have unless an awesome deal presents itself. We’ll see, I guess…
Some of the local papers have said that too much is being made about Crabtree’s attitude. The article I was read said that he’s a pretty shy kid and that people that have known him for a long time are really shocked at the stuff they’ve heard about regarding his attitude.
One thing is for sure, you know Singletary won’t put up with any shit from a rookie. Just look to Vernon Davis as an example. Singletary kicking him off the field was probably the highlight of the season for me, and look at the result. Davis actually played better after that happened.
The back is almost good. I’d be amazed if I wasn’t good to go by Monday.
