STEPHEN CURRY!!! Nice job snatching him up before the Knicks did. I think he’ll be a good fit. With that, I see why Crawford was sent to ATL. Not getting a lot of size with Speedy and AC Law, but you get speed. Curry will be a good fit.
Hahaha, the NY people were all booing when Warriors chose curry and chanting “Warriors suck”.
Yea Curry will be a good fit because he is a GREAT shooter, and that’s what warriors ONLY do is offense!!! and no defense!!! Ranked #2 in scoring and Ranked last in Defense??
Hopefully we can see Curry rise and become a hit, just like how Anthony Morrow and Anthony Randolph produced well last season. OH and speaking of Randolph, I heard he has been bulking up in the off season.
GOOOO WARRIORS!!

It’s funny. NY fans are pissed cause we took Curry and Suns fans are pissed because the Curry pick killed the Stoudamire deal. They are all mad at us!
From what I’m reading on the Suns boards, they really wanted that deal to go down. All the more reason why the Warriors should look at that deal and realize they are giving up too much.
I love the Curry pick! I think he’s good fit, but our backcourt will be tiny. Our D sucked anyway, but I think we’ll be more potent offensively this year. I like Curry at PG more than Ellis as well. I just don’t think Ellis will ever have the PG skill set. Curry has a better team basketball IQ.
Plus, I still think the Curry pick makes Monta expendable and they are going to shop him around. I think it may depend on how quickly Curry comes along, but don’t be surprised to see him get moved before the trading deadline this year.
They still have too many guys in the backcourt, so there’s going to be another move or two before the trade deadline. I’m expecting one move to be made once the free agent period starts on Wednesday, then probably another move around the trading deadline. Look at who they have now:
Jackson, Maggette, Belinelli, Azibuke, Curry, Ellis, Morrow, Law, and Watson. Watson’s a free agent though, so they’ll probably let him walk. Law we only have for another year unless we exercise the final year of his rookie deal. I think we are just going to try him out and see where things go. I liked Crawford, but he just didn’t work out. At least we dumped his salary.
Randolph used to be penciled in at small forward, but I just don’t see the minutes there for him and with the weight gain, I think they’ll play him at PF more in a regular lineup and maybe some small forward if Nelson goes big. They used to talk about Wright at small forward, but he just doesn’t have the skills to play SF.
Yeah, word is that Randolph has put on 25 lbs and even grew another inch. There was an article in the paper showing a picture of him doing Front Squats, so that made me happy. I guess he’s been doing 3 a day workouts working on his game. It will be interesting to see how he and Morrow (who normally works out with Randolph) improve this year. His development this offseason is I think why they are willing to move Brandan Wright now.
Hopefully they make the right deals. I might actually get excited for them this year. I’m already pretty excited to see what Singletary does with the 49ers.
I’m in Dublin, and Ponce, I think, is in the South Bay.
