Cal’s right. You need to get a tape measure called MyoTape. It’s cheap, it’s available on Amazon, and you can do it with one hand ;^)

Talking about getting on a scale and wanting to break it, I go to the gym and their having pre-fight weigh ins for tomorrow. Bam, 3 bills. I was all bullocks! How did I shot up 30 lbs in three months?

It’s all that darn tasty food people give you during the summer! It’s a trick so you make them look better in a bikini.

I’m a student right now (again) and I would be pumped to run into a babe of a female professor (such as yourself) lookin hot at the gym.

Just saying…

Patch2: Thanks for stopping in! I think you misunderstood. I dress appropriately to interact with students when at the campus gym. At my private gym I dress differently, which is where I ran into said student.
Ah, reading comprehension fail.

That just sucks.

Print!: Awww hunny, so good to see you scritches behind ears, rubs tummy.

Cal: Damn, sorry to hear that. Crossfit is kinda intense in more ways than one. A student of mine was a trainer at our local one and I casually said that one day I should pop in and train sometime. Next thing I know, I am getting multiple propaganda type emails from the place. A bit too overbearing yikes! Adrenal glandulars are the shizz.

Yo Momma: Thanks for stopping by! Wait…I can measure one handed? Hmmmmm, ponders what to do with the other hand HA! I have a myotape and I will be a good girl and start being more diligent about tracking progress.

Chris: Oh noes! What the hell happened?

IronCross: Fackin’ bitches always trying to hate!

Patch: Meh, no worries. It happens to the best of us!

Greg: Flattery will get you everywhere good sir, except it will NOT get you a better grade.

One place I used to work at had an incident where the guys by the elevators used Olympic style scoring numbers for ladies conning off the elevators…

That got us a week of sensitivity training.

Playing a little catch up. I have been neglectful.

No gym today. Dr’s appt to discuss all things glandular. Blood work FTW! Lots of tests (many I requested), gonna do a proper thyroid panel. Some routine stuff CBC, chemistries etc… and fasting insulin.

Went into the office for a while. Then went for my massage and got torn up. My therapist is AWESOME; she actually works deep into my iliopsoas, piriformis, pectineus and other adductors. Hard to find someone like that. Hopefully she/we can start to sort out some of my issues.

Eats: (P 150/C 60/F 60)
M1: 2 eggs/ 2 whites, spinach, ff cheese- coffee w h&h
M2: Tilapia, broccoli, olive oil
M3: Salmon, asparagus, spinach
M4: Protein pancake with peanut butter

Tried to get my blood work taken care of today but the place was mobbed. Times like this I wish I still had an office; I could have done the draw myself. I will try again next week.

Odd day over all. Feeling very foggy, forgetful and a little ADD, not sure if it the estrogen detox that I am on or a sign of advancing age. Anyway, managed to rollerblade for 8 miles and a decent pace. Was sweating like a wildebeest. It was nice.

Chilled at home and my buddy came out to see the new casa for the first time. Copious amount of wine and food were consumed and a good time was had by all.

Eats: not even gonna go there today; suffice to say it was glorious and uncalled for. Glycogen stores are full and I intend to crush it tomorrow at the gym.

Hahaha! Yup, that’ll do it.

Pectineus massage is a bitch. I have my ARTist do that sometimes. She always does my glutes. psoas and piriformis. Hurts like hell but I know it does me good.

Ok, so some progress shots over the last couple years…

Start: This was 4/09. I had been training for a while but no real diet stuff going on. I also wasn’t pushing my self that hard in the gym either. Posing skillz fail.

This was 4 months later. Posing assistance via CBear. I have to go over some old paper logs to see what I was doing then so I can do it again!

This was taken 3/10 after screwing with that stupid RFL diet. I leaned out quite a bit, but also lost some muscle for sure. After that I put on quite a bit of fat and then continued doing the RFL off an on. Getting nowhere fast and damaging my body in the process.

I took some current ones but they came out shitty and as a result, it is difficult to compare photos. Once the camera battery charges, I will try to get my SO to snap some new ones.

I might as well just post it… This is the best of the lot that I took yesterday. It is really hard to pose properly and snap your own photo!

My self shots always turn out awkward, at least you got your whole back in it. That alone takes me a few tries.

The progression is cool to see, you’ve packed on some muscle for sure.

Wow. Great progress, Doc!

I have still to perfect the self taken back pic

I once ran into my dentist at the gym - she said it was awful because she kept running into her patients who would come and talk to her, when she just wanted to be left alone to do her workout. I didn’t see her there again so I guess she found another gym.
My gynocologist works out at the same gym as me. It feels a little awkward…

yay for pics… you forgot to post the ones in the same pose where you’re facing the camera… ayyyyyyohhhhh!

I like the bandana from the last pic… and it is hard taking pics of yourself. not easy, but youre lookin good

It’s hard to tell from the pics because the pose is a little better in some and the lighting is different - plus the last one is a mirror image. There’s clear progression between 1 and 2 but I’m not sure about the others. I like the ink, though.

maym - oh hell yes, that would be awkward.
