I used testosterone and trenbolone for several years with no breaks(not tren continuously; BnC). My last cycle with tren ended 6 months ago, and I tapered my testosterone for 4 months before stopping completely to focus on fertility recovery.
What I’ve done so far: • Month 1: Used HCG to help transition off • Month 2+: Started enclomiphene (first from a non-prescription source, now on a pharmaceutical-grade prescription for the past week)
I’m now on prescription enclomiphene. My primary care doctor is helpful, willing to get blood work every month, and was willing to work with me to figure out how to rx enclomiphene from a compounding pharmacy, but she isn’t knowledgeable about this situation.
Looking for: • Endocrinologist or fertility specialist in California (preferably LA, but open to virtual visits) • Advice from anyone who has successfully recovered hormone function and fertility after long-term use
I also ideally would like to do it with my own pituitary, regain fsh/lh, so hopefully no hcg/hmg unless I have to. Given my history and plan to quit, it’s not a good idea for me to have any needles lying around the house.
Any recommendations or experiences would be really helpful. I want to avoid lifelong TRT and get my fertility back on track.
I am 8 weeks into PCT with focus on fertility also. Safe to say it has been nothing short of a rollercoaster so far but it looks like it’s starting to get back on track.
I ran hcg for 2 weeks after last pin and then started on clomid 50mg and dropped hcg.
Immediately my testes were plump and then sore (they still are) I felt good until the 3rd week, from there on things went downhill, I knew clomiphene was the culprit so I managed to get my hands on enclo and it made a massive difference (clomiphene sides are the worst). I did a blood test 3 weeks in and my levels had all tanked below the range and shbg spiked high. FSH and LH started to come back, my libido was basically zero and erections non existent and I also had difficulty ejaculating (how am I going to get missus pregnant without the jizz haha) This dragged on for a few weeks with depression and anxiety knocking on the door. I then did another test around 6 weeks mark and my LH was in a good range but FSH lagging, total test went to top of the range but free test wasn’t catching up, with shbg even higher and e2 shooting up also. So clinically better but still didn’t feel great.
My focus is on fertility asap as I want to go back to gear after conceiving, so I did add HMG for FSH support and gone back to HCG at 250iu x3 week. I don’t feel great on hcg so I’m thinking to drop and keep HMG only, I dropped enclo to 25mg and am in a bunch of supplements and vitamins to try to optimize fertility and bring shbg down. Did sperm test 7 weeks in and although the quality was good, the count was still too low to make anything happen, this was expected as spermatogenesis takes around 90 days. So I’m looking to keep HMG for the time being and see how this plays out. I can say the pct was certainly successful and the fertility regain seems to be on track. I have another blood test on Monday and on week 12 I plan to do another sperm test. Realistically I should be fertile by April but could happen before.
