Hey men,
My story, age 48, lots of AAS cycles, always recovered my T level in the 400-660 range and decent free T levels using standard PCT. Was coming off a cycle had 3 emergency surgeries right as PCT was to start. Got out of hospital and used some OTC pct products recovered ok.
Everything was good, then I went on vacation and did some Proviron for a libido boost at 20 mgs per day for about 6 days, which I think shut me down. 2 weeks later, had bloodwork done and doc called and said my T levels were virtually non-existent. Started me on Andro Gel at the 50 MG dose, been on for 8 months. Didn’t like the gel, so my doc switched me to 200 MG of cyp 1X a month. I know I would feel like shit on this protocol, so I have been doing 100 MGS of CYP a week. Doc said no on HCG, but I have plenty left over.
The other complicating factor is that while I was in the hospital, I was given IV Ativan a benzo drug, and my sleep med for home was switched to a benzo, which I stayed on for 28 months, not good. A side effect of long term benzo use is low T, libido and ED problems. By the way, the benzo drugs are evil shit, worse than anything I have ever taken (and a bitch to withdraw from, the kicker is I didn’t even know my sleep med was a benzo).
Off the benzos for about a month and am feeling great, but I think this could have been the primary culprit, or I could just be getting older. Otherwise I am healthy and starting to get back into lifting and fitness.
I want to try and see if I can recover from 8 month cycle of low dose T and have been reccomended the following protocol from a trusted source:
1500 IUS of HCG E4D 4X total.
20 MG of Nolva ED for 60 days
Some OTC Test boosters
BCAA
Intense exercise
Lots of Sunshine
Early rising
Sex as many times as I can get it
After 60 days, if my T is not in a normal range after cycling off the PCT I will go back on TRT. I have no issues with being on TRT until the end, and always planned for it.
Anyone else try and get off TRT, if so what was your plan, especially interested if anyone was succesful at it?
Thanks in advance for any comments or replies.
