Nothing wrong with saying this part of a religion is silly and here is why. It isn’t intolerant. Many religious ideas need to die (female circumcision, women having different rights, intolerance to lgbt or apostasy, etc…).

I don’t know what you meant. I criticize all religions. Islam just doesn’t tolerate science or criticism/free speech.

Many people use induction. However, some would say their use of induction is only appropriate for certain things. For the God question, I think induction leads to many conclusions that induction can’t guarantee to be true.
Induction is good for generating a hypothesis. Deductive reasoning is needed to prove the hypothesis.
Training is a great example of me using inductive reasoning. Bill has big legs and squats a lot. I have a hypothesis that his squatting is what made his legs big. I’m going to squat a lot to get big legs. Do stuff like this alot, but realize it isn’t sound.
True. If human life is not inherently valuable to you, killing it simply doesn’t matter at any stage in life. Kill lives that don’t matter…

Yes. Many conclusions, would relate to the fact that ANY religion has equal chance of being correct. So when one religion dismisses all other beliefs, and kills apostates - there is something severely wrong. Deductive reasoning is needed to disprove a hypothesis - not prove. Islam just needs a reform and a step back. When ISIS, Bin Laden etc can not be considered true muslims, will be when we have made progress. Until then, I cannot consider it a good idea.

Well all religions have inaccuracies. That is why they must be completely separate to science. We should separate both ideas entirely. Islam has ample firm scientific statements that are incorrect.
Religion is totally ok. As soon as someone uses it to ascertain laws or criticism towards others is when I have an issue.

Islam is currently one of the worst ideas floating in the west and hence why I am picking it apart. Without a reform, I have to. Funnily enough there are muslims that agree with me. I have no issue with any people, only governing ideas. Each to their own.
I agree with your position I think completely. Initially I didn’t like your approach to arrive at your position (bad arguments from the opposition), which was probably you more or less ranting, and not how you actually came to where you are.
I enjoy rigorous and elegant methodology before arriving to my conclusions.
Unfortunately I lack patience and expect arguments, so I go for more cutthroat details lol.
Religious people often have a way of making a concrete point that is not in their favour, seem as though it is. There is strength in numbers, I guess, and as a mathematical person it frustrates me even talking with people that are not in “my world”.
To my Christians brothers and sisters, American Gospel on Netflix was very good. Would recommend for sure.
