Sugar Minott is pretty dope. Burning spear, Steel Pulse, Sister Nancy, Peter Tosh, Toots and the Maytals,King Tubby, Yellowman… There’s quite a few that are really good. Also, check out Easy star All-Stars. They do some serious dub covers.

This is an example of Slow Reggae kinda in the lovers rock category
Classic lovers rock pioneer and reggae legend Beres Hammond (one of my all time favs)
Roots Reggae legend Lee Scratch Perry one of his newer songs
Some Dancehall from Beenie Man more upbeat party driven music
THIS IS THE ALLTIME SLOW JAM CLASSIC IN ALL OF REGGAE!!

Haha, you should see my soul and jazz collection!!.. Seriously man, I just really enjoy music. There’s music you hear and music you feel. If I can feel it, then I can apprecciate it, regardless of genre. I saw Toots a couple of years ago and Steel Pulse a couple of weekends ago at the International fest. They were awesome. Not sure if you’ve heard this, but here’s a punk band doing a reggae song. It’s actually one of my favorites-
