OK. But PX is regularly accused of bringing down the reputation of the site for years. That makes no sense to me as a lot of posters were banned for that very reason.
Professor X has been himself for at least as long as I’ve been here, so I don’t see why he gets a name check every time the topic of ways to improve the site comes up. A good start to remedying the situation would be for members not to trash T-Nation on other sites then bring it back here. I guarantee that it happens. Maybe I see it more than others because I don’t post on any other bodybuilding websites.
Even with a shift in attitude he can’t really be blamed for the apparent sudden decline in the quality of discussion, which I don’t really see has been that abrupt. The truly quality posters who made a difference ‘moved on’ when they became competitive. No names need to be mentioned.
It was a loss, but we benefitted from their knowledge and talents for free. [/quote]
Roy- I’m not going to argue for, or against any current or past members in an open forum. It’s not in good taste. Obviously you have your feelings, and I will defend your right to them. Whether my particular thoughts align with yours or not doesn’t matter. But, I think we can agree that there are certainly enough issues here that the folks at the top have had to acknowledged as much.
Now you or anyone else on here can speculate as to what truly goes on behind closed doors, why certain people are no longer here and others are, who has been of concern for a while and who hasn’t, but at the end of the day, none of you will know for certain if you’re correct in your assertions.
My suggestion? Don’t even bother giving it a second thought. Move beyond the little mess that my simple comment on FB seems to have triggered, and focus instead on creating a positive environment. If a certain poster’s actions trigger a response by the powers that be, then you can look back and try to puzzle together what happened.

I consider you to be one of the most reasonable posters on any forum and someone who’s well aware of the bigger picture. Let me just say that I have a pretty good handle on why prominent posters have come and gone. I’m also aware of how FB influences discussions on other forums. Certain prominent members have flatly denied that, assuming I was born yesterday.
If those prominent members want to mould the site, they should refrain from troll posts about taking supplements that were not released at that time or pimping ‘all around’ workout routines they don’t use.
