I honestly don’t mind boiled eggs, mustard helps too. Although, if it were safe, I’d just drink them raw.
Actually, blending raw egg with coffee is quite good. The yolk adds creaminess and the whites create a beautiful foam
You might consider looking into the stuff I bought from eggwhitesint .com They’re completely safe to drink, as they’re actually cooked rather than raw.
I never cared for mustard in general. I like honey mustard, but that’s far more the honey element at play.
It’s raw yolks I like.
The whites are just a slimy inconvenience
Most ppl I know are on that same page I never understood the appeal of combining savory with sweet
I was operating off the genesis of the convo where this was something we’d be doing out of convenience.
EDIT: Regarding raw eggs and coffee, Paul Kelso actually talked about that in Powerlifting Basics Texas Style. But I’ve also never had coffee, so there’s that, haha.
I love the taste of black coffee but my tolerance for caffeine caps out at 50mg. Fortunately Costco has 3lbs of decaf for $10
And cost. Eggs are less than $2/dozen

Like, never even tried it?!
Edit: I hate quoting on this forum, never seem to get it right!
If it’s a protein per dollar value thing, I’ll have to crunch numbers on it.
There’s apparently 6 grams of protein in 1 large egg, so a dozen is 72 grams. So $1 per 36 grams of protein. Already I think a protein powder would be a better deal, but you also get some fats and vitamins with whole eggs, so there’s that.
Had a sip when I was a kid, but that’s about it. No real compulsion to have it. Never cared for hot drinks. Drank a lot of hot tea traveling through Asia and just suffered through it.
You can drink it cold as well!
It’s nature’s energy drink!
T3hPwnisher,
I guess you have a good experience with Juggernaut. What is your opinion about the implementation of the program during the time when you clean fat. I’m over 30% fat and the last workouts I do the Inverted Juggernaut. I like it and I wonder if it makes sense to continue. After all, I’m 47 years old and I don’t know if it’s better to bet on a higher volume and lower weight than the other way around. My goals are mostly visual and improvement in health and athletics. I don’t know if it’s worth spending so much time on this program.
Thanks.
Very true! Just put the grounds in a teapot with some water and stick in a fridge overnight
Plus, coffee is incredibly antioxidant and polyphenol rich, might even help with blood sugar and lipid control
That’s what everyone tells me, but I’ve got enough cold drinks I enjoy that I don’t feel the need to add onto it.
However, if the docs tell me to shut down the energy drinks, I’ll most likely head in that direction.
@deyan I don’t actually have any experience with the Juggernaut Training Method. My “Juggernaut” here is in reference to the original notion of a juggernaut: an unstoppable force. It pays homage to the marvel character as well.
I’m obviously seriously mistaken. I’m sorry.
You’ve had kids then, I take it?
This strikes me as an incredibly British joke.
Indeed I do good sir.
Replied in an incredibly British manner (or what I perceive Americans would think was a British manner) just for you flap!
My mom is from Hemmel Hempstead and I lived in Bristol for a year and have frequently visited for over a decade, so I know at least a bit ![]()
Came across this joke a while ago:
U.K.: colour
Us: color
U.K.: favourite
Us: favorite
U.K.: what are you doing
Us: getting rid of “u”
Does that mean you think everyone from the UK speaks like some sort of inbred pirate?!
Haha, that’s Christmas cracker bad that is!
