Many years ago when Americans believed in accountability and responsibility there was a “Common Sense” approach to the legal system and this case would have never found its way into a court room. However we have since given up on these beliefs and live mostly in a culture that places blame rather than accepts responsibility. Because of that this woman was able to make a decision and then sue because of it. Since there is no effort to correct this way of thinking I can only assume that this will be a landmark case with many to follow.
It makes me sad that our society has come to this.

You’re just sad because I called you a socialist bitch. Or because your boyfriend dumped you. But look on the bright side - you’re in canada and apparently he can’t sue you.
Hey, congrats! You learned something!
Good job!!!
Can you remember why he can’t sue me?
Hint: it has to do with something that rhymes with “schmonsideration”.[/quote]
Because he stretched your sphincter past the point of no return?
Next you will get sued for test driving a car and not buying it, I mean hell, you made a commitment remember. You did say you really liked the style and color and the bitch does get good gas mileage.
Oh, and all you women, don’t you dare take an article of clothing into a dressing room; you try it, you buy it. If it don’t fit? Tough shit, you should have thought about that before you thought about that!
