Realistic TRT Recomp Progress

So, do you think I should stop playing with them? My doc seems to think raising IGF will help me feel better. I just ordered more Ipamorelin, so I’m thinking I might run that to coincide with my “slight bulk” through the early part of winter and then cut it off when I reduce calories. As I understand it, Ipa should help with adding muscle mass. But it’s annoying having to inject another substance, plus the cost adds up.

Jack, looking back through some old posts – which has been really helpful. Found this one – were you saying you feel comfortable running 200-250 pretty much indefinitely, and going up from there once in a while? Need reassurance that someone else thinks it’s reasonable to have a “normal” dose that high without any real plans to drop it down.

Yeah preferred the navel area (inch or two left or right of belly button). It slides a little easier but it seems like the oil sits there for less time than it does in other fatty areas. Like it’s more permeable.

Physiolojik runs 250mg/week for TRT. He was asked about that question in his thread.

250mg/month? So just 62.5mg/week?

*week

Nice, thanks brother. Happen to remember the rough timing of when he talked about that?

Somewhere around 150-400 on Ask Physiolojik thread

Yeah I run between 200 and 250 mg per week split up into two shots. My test is enanthate and is 200mg per ml so I do 1/2 ml each shot. Granted my peak levels on this dose aren’t like yours. This keeps me in the 600-900 range. Even on 375mg I was only around 1200

It’s really amazing how our bodies respond differently. Like you said, my peak levels were crazy high (2889 TT, 54 FT)…yet you seem to feel much better in the 600-900 range than I do near 3000!

Yep absolutely. When I take too much test my head trade gets high and I feel always short of breath. My HCT gets too high, and I’m a walking hard on. I like 200 -250 much better lol

No brother. I apologize if it came off that way. I think that peptides are great, I took them but my impatience drew me to HGH which is leaps and bounds ahead of peptides.

Here’s an honest and kind of random question: you are older and more financially seasoned than me. I’m 28, and between my wife and I, we make 150-200 per year. If you were in the same position, do you think you’d be playing around with peptides, or would you be saving that money for a house/retirement?

I’m torn with the tradeoff. We don’t splurge on anything, and health/fitness is kind of my ‘toy.’ But peptides also seem kind of unnecessary.

HA!! My wife the CPA doesn’t agree LOL

That is a great income for only 28. I was still in grad school at 28 with a 5 year old. I would put any surplus into a 401/savings/retirement/and a college fund if you have kids.

BUT I would still live for the present. I found myself ALWAYS waiting/looking for the “next” thing (i.e. new job, next baby, new car, new house) and before you know it, time has passed and you’ve just sat there and waited to do what you wanted.

Life is too short to be miserable or unhappy when you are in a situation to change your circumstances. One of my best friends (the one who started me in the gym) and a super healthy guy died of colon cancer in 2014. It came on pretty suddenly and took him within a year. After that, I don’t wait for shit anymore. Regret is a huge burden to carry around with you and you will have enough regret just thru living a long life. DON’T make more by waiting to do something you want to do.

End the old man rant

@enackers How’s the cream working out for you? Still 3 clicks AM/3 PM, all to the balls? How’s libido? Any peaks/valleys? I’m reading through some old posts and you seem to be the biggest proponent of this approach around here.

Awesome post brother!

I went to 2 Clicks twice a day and didn’t notice a difference from 3. I still take 3 on days i go to the gym and recover. I do notice a difference then when I have more: I’m also on thyroid . My libido is currently too much to handle. I wake up every morning With out of control libido and erections. Later in evening same thing.

It started to get better once I got closer to a year in trt as my doctor suggested. I also added DHEA 5mg and bossa says that helps him wirh libido. I can’t take 25mg it’s too much. I also started the daily multivitamin from MedQuest a few weeks ago and that’s kinda filled some of my holes. I guess I was missing some key minerals and vitamins.

My e2 is 60-80 and my feee t is 25-35 depending if I’m 2 or 3.

Estrogen is the reason for our libido. I’ve read so many studies that show this and I have never read any studies that show estrogen (with good T and DHT levels) causes loss of libido.

Bro stay with natural hormones. You are good with what you have. I would save as much as I could young. You never know what will happen in the future. You might look back and say “damnit I could of saved 50k a year”.

Time flies bro. By the time you hit 40 you are kind of shocked at how fast time flew.

I can barely remember anything during my 30s. Just a blur.

If I were making 150/200 I would save 50k a year and live off the rest. Get a good financial professional and do it right.

In 20 years you’ll have a good 1.5 or 2-3 in 30-40 years if it’s done right.

I like to invest in stocks. Using services that help me decide and I’ve always made a good 15-30% on my money when I have time to research.

Owning a home is bullshit. You put down 50-100k and your 30 years mortgage turns a 300k mortgage into 800-1million in total cost for the home.

I would buy a home that I can easily afford and get a 15 year mortgage. I would pay an extra 20-30% every month and turn a 15 mortgage into a 7-10.

How much will we need in 20-30 or 40 years to retire? About 4-5k a month with a home you own would be nice. Or 2-3k minimum… Multiple that by how long you think you might live.

So if I retire at 50. I need to think about having enough $$ till 80. That is 30 years , 60k a year Or 1.8 mill. I’m sure you could live with a smaller income; but that’s no way to retire.

Enough of my blab. I’m sure you get the idea.
