High prolactin levels in a man can cause the breast tenderness symptoms, and promote the development of breast tissue. It’s usually the more likely culprit when people complain about high E2.
Prolactin works with progesterone and estrogen to develop breast tissue and milk glands. In a woman, this is the mechanism for preparing to breast feed after the birth of a child. In a man, this is the mechanism for gynecomastia.
You know where too low is, and you’re pretty sure that 250 is too high…so from here you need to walk up 10mg every 6-8 weeks until you find a good balance.
Test shouldn’t make you feel “amazing” unless you’re running a cycle. It’s just supposed to make you feel normal to well-normal. A good balance of ALL hormones, proper diet and exercise, and a great coping mechanism for stress…that’s how you get to amazing.
Haha, well, I have a feeling that my definition of “amazing” is every other guy’s “normal to well-normal” because my libido has been messed up for so long. When I say “amazing,” I mean “I wanted to have sex multiple times per week” – maybe 3X per week. It was awesome. I get a feeling that’s pretty average (or well-normal) for most guys.
I like this suggestion, brother. I’ve been on 200 for 4.5 weeks, so I’ll give it another 1.5 weeks. If I don’t feel better by Thanksgiving, I’ll celebrate the holiday by walking it up, lol. You think 210 would be the right move?
@bkb333
It’s weird that I don’t feel amazing at 500mg/week. I mean I don’t feel bad but I don’t feel Tony the tiger gggggreat! I don’t get extra energy or an enhanced well-being. My sleep is a little worse which is the main noticeable difference. I actually prefer how I feel on 200mg.
I do. Then if you still aren’t there, go to 220, and so on. It takes longer this way but you will know exactly where your “sweet spot” cuts in. Make sure that you’re changing NOTHING else while you are titrating.
This is why we usually tell people to start with TEST ONLY. It’s the only way to really dial in the dose. After you dial that in, THEN you can start playing with other compounds. If you are taking more than just test, then you really have no idea what’s causing your issues unless you hit the magic number jackpot right off the bat.
If you walk up and get to a point where your Free T is hitting in the 30-35 range, and you STILL have issues, then it’s time to consider that Test isn’t the cause. It could be androgenic receptors, or neurological issues, thyroid, hell…just about anything hormone related lol.
It could also be that your body is not agreeing with one of the other compounds or supplements that you are taking. (Here’s that pesky test only thing again!)
Yeah step it up slowly and see how it goes. I’ve run, 150, 200, 250, 500, and even 750, and I feel best at 200. This keeps my test in the 600-900 range and with .5mg an Astro ole a week my e2 around 25. I’m a big fan of treating how you feel though rather than chasing a number.
I don’t know man… you felt good at like 3000 and 90. Seems to reason that you would probably feel good at 1000 and 30 as well. I’d give the AI a try. How many days a week are you taking test right now and what’s your total dose?
SubQ is a little easier to tolerate for ED dosing.
The frequency will help with less E2 being created via aromatase. It may just be the ticket for you.
I’ve been doing ED for about 10 - 15 weeks (can’t remember exactly how long now). After about 4-5 weeks, I was ready to go back to IM X3, but I stuck it out another few weeks. I don’t think I’ll ever go back now. EVERYTHING is falling into place.
That makes a ton of sense — I think I’ll try that. How much are you injecting ED? What’s been falling into place, brother? Always injecting into belly fat? I inject Ipamorelin SQ ED as well, so I’m wary of pinning too much in the same area.
The BP issues have completely vanished. Libido is great. Erection quality is getting better every day (had sex today with my wife twice within 3 hours!). The only issue I’m still fighting now is quality sleep, which I honestly think has nothing to do with test. I think that it’s stress related to the whole house hunting thing (got a purchase agreement on an awesome place yesterday btw!).
