I thought the same thing. Turned out I had hypogonadism and sub par T my whole formative life. Now I am making gains like crazy. I get accused of being on every sort of gear out there. – I’m just regular and consistent and I actually eat 5k calories per day now…

Bulking up like mad. Huge gains in the last 3 weeks. (Since mid July '19)

What do you take now?

I run 200 mg Test Cyp per week E3.5D and 250 iu HCG E3.5D with EOD 1 mg anastrazole.

Very cool that your insurance does that. I have a feeling you’re going to end up loving the gym! There’s something about playing around on all those machines (especially, like you said, on leg day – and I love back day) that you just can’t replicate at home.

That said, the home gym is still amazing, and I’m so grateful to have mine. But I bet you’ll have a blast during this interim period and make some crazy gains!

You seem to be making the best of a bad situation. The housing market out there sounds nuts. I’m hopeful you end up cashing out on your investment. Who knows, maybe that profit can help you create an even more tricked-out gym setup with all your favorite machines from the gym, now at home! Lol. This gym period is just basically shopping for all your future toys

LOVE the idea of a juicy, wood-fired steak. Now my mouth is watering!

Applebee’s would be right up our alley. We’re doing well financially for our age but are still quite frugal – we only splurge on occasional vacations, 2X per year – so those prices are in our wheelhouse. Plus, Applebee’s has genuinely good food!

Baller alert! I’ve never spent over $200 on a dinner, to be honest…but you’re right, drinks definitely add up. My wife would lose her mind if I bought a $100 bottle. Might have to do it just to see the look on her face!

LOL! That’s why its a celebratory dinner.

Haha, my plant manager told me to take my wife out and to get whatever we wanted and he would reimburse me as a reward for some work I did. I think the check was around $90 for food, drinks and a desert and I thought we were balling lol.

Has anyone had success with an A.I.? They’ve been demonized, but my provider has repeatedly mentioned taking a very small dose could be a good option, and I have anastrozole on hand. My libido has been so bad this fall – zero sex drive – so I’m starting to feel desperate and consider experimentation. I honestly feel terrible for my wife, I’ve had no desire to have sex.

Personal question - how often do you snap the :carrot:? Do you watch porn?

Literally zero, man. Sex drive is non-existent.

I think an AI starting on day 1 of TRT should definitely be demonized but using one you have knowledge and experience shouldn’t be. I experiment with them from time to time and never feel a thing from them unless I crash but trial & error is how you get there. Try it and see.

I’d say try it too. Start low, obviously

Curious what @enackers, @jackolee, @NH_Watts, @bmbrady77 think – to AI or not to AI?

If you don’t need one don’t take it. Less drugs is better. I need one. I get gyno if I don’t even running my trt dose. I take 1/2 mg anastrizile a week and that does the trick

Totally agree, but am starting to wonder if I do need it. Does it affect your libido at all, from what you’ve noticed? That’s what I’m primarily concerned with. Haven’t noticed any gyno.

Don’t mean to derail, but Awesome update to your profile pic @jackolee. You’re killing it.

@bkb333 - this is an interesting one. What is your TT and E2 again? Some say there is that ratio that should exist, some say it’s higher E2 that coverts to serotonin inhibiting dopamine causing a lack of libido, some think it’s DHT… honestly, the more I read, the more I realize I know nothing.

I have never taken an AI. I was having problems with libido/erections on 120mg a week about a year ago and my doc checked TT and E2. They were 600 and 25. He said he wouldn’t be concerned until my E2 is over 60.

After that, I increased my dose myself to 140mg a week and that adjustment and subsequent stabilization led to and animalistic explosion of libido and sex. Like, 12 times in 10 days, a 1 day break and then another 8 times in a row.

But now, I’m sorta back to not really feeling the overwhelming need to have sex like I did earlier in the year. Almost like my body is used to the testosterone at this level.

I’m interested to hear what you do and how it goes. I’d say give it a shot, but be super careful not to crash your E2.

Edit: I do feel great the day after my shot but just okay the day of my shot. I’m considering going ED, but not totally sure yet.

Interesting to hear that, brother – amazing that going from 120-140 made that huge of a difference! I hope you regain that ā€˜sexual explosion’ and get back to beast mode in the bedroom.

I guess stabilization effects are to be expected, but not sure about that big of a regression – others who’ve been on TRT longer and at different doses could definitely speak to that. Hey, it could be worse – you could, like me, go from a 7/10 to a 0/10! Keep experimenting, my man – I have no doubt you’ll get it back. Give ED a shot and see how you feel. Didn’t make a difference for me but definitely could for you.

Unfortunately, my bloods aren’t super recent. At last check (August), my TT was 1919 (422 free) and E was 84. I would not be surprised if T is lower now though, because at that point I lowered my dose from 200-150 mg/week. E has always been high (61 at start of HOT, 91 at the ā€˜height’ of my T over the summer).

I am in the no AI camp unless genetically predisposed to gynecomastia.
