I would’ve been respectful throughout this argument if I was given anything to respect. Had I lied on my hub, put no pictures or vids up, and just said I was 45 would the validity of my initial argument suddenly be reconsidered? Blind respect without reason is useless. That kind of mentality translates awfully quick into blind respect for every longstanding social structure evident within a society. Then, you get the Hitler youth. In that way, it’s not even respect. It’s psychological masturbation, performed in order to avoid discomfort with said longstanding social structures. It is blatant lack of a capability for autonomous thought that is the reason I implied “my generation is fucked”. The very same capability that I was expected to conform to commenting on this thread. Ask no questions, be a patriot. The same capability that CS, like so many others, so happily submits to, and then regurgitates in 5-year old glib “Tag, you’re it!”.
I mean both of us (CS and I) will be working long past our deaths to pay off the debt supply-side economics encouraged the racketeers running the casinos on Wall St. to chalk up. The only difference is, he’ll probably wind up being what, a narc? spook? My guess is something along those lines. But hey, the prison lobby is a success. And I’ll go into computer science and continue to get rejected from unknown underground poetry journals.
The debt supply side economics…
That makes no sense…
…“encouraged the racketeers running the casinos on Wall St. to chalk up”
Lowering income tax, capital gains rates, and reducing regulation. The deregulation this practice initiated allowed the system to be vastly manipulated by many industries, i’m predominantly referencing the financial industry.
As in, the debt (trillions of dollars in bailout, nationalizations, etc) that supply side economics allowed (encouraged through massive deregulation and tax breaks to corporations (“producers”)) to occur, as executed by innumerable organizations and individuals employed in the financial industry (racketeers (i.e. subprime lending, CDO’s, the junk bond industry), (casinos, symbolizing that the financial industry is “fixed for the house odds”, on Wall St. ( the financial industry, etc.). Debt supply side economics is not what I was saying. There was a “the” in front of that phrase.
And yeah haha that last sentence did sound pretty pathetic. Don’t worry man, even though I haven’t been laid in 4 months, I’m not gonna off myself. Thanks for your concern though. What the fuck does my personal life have fuck all to do with anything? I was just talking professionally, and I was being sarcastic. But your suspicions are probably right; I don’t do much in the way of social interaction anymore.
Shit I’d rather be a terrible emotionally disturbed artist anyday than a narcotics agent. At least I wouldn’t have to lie to myself.

Economically I believe he would have been sound. It’s his foreign policy ideas that scare the shit out of me…
I like Ron Paul, but not enough to elect him. I think the notions of his that do inspire people are important notions to keep front and center attention on.
I too am for liberty to a fault. But isolationism, as fun as it sounds is a no go. The genie’s out of the bottle, it’s not going back in.

Someone should explain to me why republicans love Reagan so much. Why is he the considered the epitome of conservative presidents?
He improved the economy using keynesian economic principles, which run counter to what Republicans believe
He is labeled an anti-tax hero after raising taxes 11 times.
But I am glad that I have seen posts with the good and the bad, because there was both. Every president has successes and failures.

Well, that kind of does make sense and I commend you for choosing death over being The Man.
So, since you kind of have your house in order, maybe getting laid by a good woman could be added to your list of priorities?
Professionally speaking?

Yet, you started off disrespectful.
The fact that you were disrespectful makes this much harder to answer. I have never been disrespected on these forums because of my age and I have said some outrageous stuff. I just always tried to be respectful (though it didn’t always happen).
False Dichotomy. You seem to propose that either someone gives us a reason to respect them or we disrespect them?
Neither, we respect them because of the reason that they are responses and this is supposed to be a civil discourse.
Hitler youth wasn’t a longstanding social structure within society, it was a revolutionary idea brought about by the third reich out of practicality. Also, a false dichotomy, either you disrespect persons or you accept child soldiers?
Try again.

Your lack of understanding is only surpassed by your lack of manners.
You said the debt supply side, I think the word that you mean is that you forgot to put “that” in-between debt and supply side. That’s okay. However, the rest of your understanding of supply side economics and subprime lending, CDO’s, junk bond industry is laughable.

That’s rhetorical nonsense! Think of the Cuban missile crises and notice that Reagan didn’t invoke that, but my point is and I liked John F Kennedy, that he didn’t back down but thank God Khrushchev did cause we might not be here today. So who was the sane one? That’s my rhetorical question.
On one hand I have to thank Ronald Reagan for giving us good hip-hop but that’s only because he fucked up the hood with his Contra Wars. People are talking shit about Fast and Furious but it pales in comparison to the Contra Wars of the 80s. I think we all know how they funded that shit.
In the immortal words of Jay-Z:
Can’t you tell that I came from the dope game?
Blame Reagan for making me into a monster
Blame Oliver North and Iran-Contra
I ran contraband that they sponsored
Before this rhymin stuff we was in concert
Gullible is exactly the word to describe a large number of Reaganites.
