Reagan vs Obama Debate

Peace without victory. Sounds like a plan destined to fail.

edit: I didn’t say this when I first posted the video, but I hope this hasn’t been posted before. I did try the search that resulted in nothing. My bad if it’s a duplicate = )

4:18-4:34 reminds me of the first half of Anthem by Ayn Rand

6:10-6:20 reminds me of the last chapter of Anthem

6:30-7:00 spoken for truth

and, in closing, Obama is a villain from Atlas Shrugged

Probably means he’s doing something right then.

^ so you think Obama is right about what he is doing?

What’s he doing?

Seems like not much has gotten done at all.

But he has, he has pissed off alot of people, including those in his own party.

His plans are downright scary! He respects no life, even his own. Yet he was a popular change.

I just have to remain and think positive.

This is a redickuless statement

When I used the statement “you guys” I was referring to the first two posters, Polo & Spar. Just an assumption on my part. Was I wrong? If I was, I apologize : )

edit: after re-reading your post Polo, I was wrong to tie you with spar, really am sorry about that offers hand shake ; )

The video is a series of pictures tied with whom was speaking, no lips moved throughout the entire clip.

Why the fascination with shit? PB how is it a crock of shit that Reagan spoke about this kind of gervernment many years ago and then the points are tied together and yet the counter-points fit perfectly. Sounds like a crock of shit to me too.

So which life does Obama respect? You want free health care, that doesn’t mean Obama cares. Obama wants the government to have total control over you. Guess what happens when your aspirations don’t follow the government/Obama?

So should selfishness be a virtue? Obama wants it to be something that can be taken away. You work hard and make something out of a business, Obama will give the money to someone who does nothing to earn the funds. Yup, sound like good ole plan to dis red neck.

Many other countries look to the US and hope to have similar government, a government since the days of the Revolution. Where the founding fathers wrong about anything? Why does the change need to be something that will “fundamentally transform the system”?

How do we know any body ? Reagan ? Obama ? Michele ? said any of those things , with photo shop you can not be sure what you see is fact. Those couls be all impersonators ?

how is giving everyone health care going to make usa a fascist tyranny, I dont see the logic in this arguments
against the health care reform. All countries in western europa have puplic health care, but we have a democratic system and civil rights and no patriotic act. Usa have today no public health care, a less democratic system and a federal attack on your rights with the patriotic act. I cant see how this form of change is hurting your freedom.

Where will the control stop? The founding fathers wanted to limit the control of the government for the reason that it will never stop itself until the society revolts against said government. I am not eloquent as many people on these forums, did my point get across?

You do not understand economic freedom. See you like to divide freedom civil and economic. But true freedom is when you have both. This is a bill that would take a lot from a lot of people, western Europa “free” health care is a joke, if a woman has breast cancer she has a 49% chance to die, here in America she has a 91% chance to live. You system tells people we are sorry you are to much of a burden to the state please go somewhere and die. While our system while not perfect heals more people then a socialist system like western Europe’s ever could.

We are a constitutional republic, democracies are an evil form of government. Nothing but the simple majority oppressing the minority.

Britain has the biggest big brother program alive, camera’s all over the place. While my country is not perfect you would do best to remove that giant plank from your eye before you tell me about the sliver in mine.
