As my workouts are becoming more intense and my goals even higher, I’d really like to take my workouts to the next level by using the new Anaconda and MAG-10, but I have a few questions first…
As prescribed by a doctor, I’m currently taking 1600mg of trimethylglycine a day (split into two 800mg doses). I’ve recently discovered that this is also known as “betaine anhydrous” (an ingredient found in Anaconda) and so I’m a little concerned how this might affect my current dosing if I were to begin using Anaconda. Is there more than 1600mg of betaine anhydrous in a single dose of Anaconda? I need to know how to best supplement (or omit) my usual dosing requirements of trimethylglycine on days I were to use Anaconda…
Assuming the answer to my first question works for me, my current scheduling might force me to start doing some of my workouts in the morning (for a few months at least) instead of my usual/preferred afternoon routine. Is it ok to do this, using Anaconda according to its label, immediately upon waking and then working out? Or should I try to get up a little earlier (assuming still able to get 7+ hours of sleep), eat something like oatmeal with added protein (such as whey powder), wait a bit (maybe 90-120 minutes?), and THEN start taking Anaconda and working out?
I’d love to be able to pulse with MAG-10 several times throughout the day (and/or night) everyday, but if I’m limited by my current budget to only using two doses a day (only on workout days), when would be the absolute best times to do it? One hour post workout is likely the first given, but would the second one go better used an hour after the first dose post workout (a suggestion on the label), pre-bed, sometime during the night, first thing in the morning (on an off day following an intense workout the day before), or…?

Well, your first question will be hard for anyone to feel comfortable answering, as we are not doctors and most will feel uneasy giving you advice to the matter. Biotest isn’t going to list exact amounts of how much betaine anhydrous is in Anaconda, its listed with a few other ingredients with a total of 40.6g in the complex of all the ingredients, so hard to say. I would say present it to your doctor and check to see if he see’s any possible interactions or if there is a upper limit to how much you can have.
Your second question, is simpler if you train in the morning you could try both ways you mentioned and see which one works out best for you. There are many who wake up and start their day with their peri-workout as breakfast and then train. I will say a good option would be to have 1-2 FINiBARs 1hr or so prior to taking Anaconda. However, a light breakfast could also work, if you do that though i would give at least 2 hours before you start Anaconda. Ditch the oatmeal and have something like cream of rice, rice cakes, rice and shine with some added protein. But as i said try both and see what works best and yes, simply follow label directions with Anaconda for best results.
Lastly, if you only have two pulses on training day’s i would definitely do the post-training pulse and then the next time i would recommend is pre-bed. With a pre-bed pulse just be sure you don’t have your last solid meal too close to that pulse, you should have at least 2-3hours in between. So, if you eat a later dinner, you might consider putting the pulse elsewhere. The best times are upon waking(which if you train in the morning with Anaconda that already takes care of that time) in between meals, post-training, pre-bed, or middle of the night if you get up frequently and it doesn’t interrupt your sleep.
