Soooooo full of shit. 2 of the historically worst teams in the NFL are in that division. Steelers didn’t make playoffs last year. And the Ravens are occasionally decent (2000), but most of the time just mediocre. An average Colts D held them to 3 points.

And Anquan Boldin is about to know how Alvin Harper and recently, TJ Houshmanzadeh felt. When you have Michael Irvin, Chad Johnson, or Larry Fitzgerald on the other side of the field as you, it’s real easy to tell yourself that you’re worth #1 money.

Toughest divisions are NFC North, NFC East, and AFC East (look at Wins and Losses the Matt Cassel year). AFC North is pretty entrenched the middle.
Houshmanzedeh went to an offense in tatters. Boldin is going to an offense ascending with a good line, good running game, good qb, veteran receivers heap and clayton, and a stifling d.

ravens are legit.
I am a fan of Flacco and McGahey. But to say it somehow is some elite division is nuts. The two best teams in the division play each other only twice… it’s not like it makes or breaks their year.
bond james bond and I were referring to the division’s body count. As a former college and semi-pro athlete who played FB, LB and DT, you appreciate a team that plays balls out and hits. What I do wonder is how a thread on Ray Lewis’ work ethic devolved into this, though. If you don’t like the teams or have another favorite team that is, fine. Feel free to start another thread. Once again, a thread on this site that actually started off positive and made a few guys smile and get pumped up has turned into an internet pissing match that is going nowhere.

lets try put this back on schedule

Baltimore native here. Although at some points Ray has been aloof from the fanbase, we could not have asked for a more fired up, intenese, and inspired football player to lead the Ravens for the past 15 years. Can you believe both he and Jonathan Ogden were the FIRST 2 draft picks the Ravens ever made, in 1996?

He has a Superbowl MVP, 2 Defensive MVP awards, multiple pro-bowls, active leader in tackles, etc. He is a machine. Period.
Some amazing scouting to get two talents like that in the draft.

I am starting to get excited about this years draft, hopefully the 49ers can be smart with their 2 first rounders. Anybody else a draft addict?
Yup hoping the chiefs go for Bulaga if Okung is gone or maybe Eric Berry though i think o-line is more important

Having been fortunate enough to see Willis train and play in person, I can only underscore how brilliant of a talent he truly is. He is a gifted athlete on the field and an outstanding role model off of it.

The 49ers have blown some picks in recent years, but Willis is one of the best they have ever made, and I am very thankful for it.

I can only hope they make such moves in this years draft, instead of taking Alex Smith’s and Rashaun Woods’.
